“Had a great short break in Paignton staying with Sarah and Paul at the Rowcroft Lodge. The guest house is well located with a short walk to the town centre, including the Dartmouth Steam Railway station, and even shorter walk to the beach. Sarah does a very nice freshly cooked breakfast and the room and bed very comfortable. We were made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

The premises are within easy reach of main roads to nearby Exeter and the coast, as well as lovely local pubs including Traveller’s Rest and Kings Arms for evening meals. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. ”

“We stayed in Heathcliff House for a couple nights in August and had a very pleasant stay. Alex and Stacey were both really welcoming and the breakfast was lovely which catered for vegetarians (a huge factor for me!). The car park was also a bonus for us, however the beach and town centre were both in walking distance and public transport very close by too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay 😊”
