“very quiet. Pretty garden. It was a bit cool inside as it’s winter now. Only one oil heater. It’s marketed as passive solar fit ceiling is vey high so sun effect on cold tiles was minimal . I stayed for 7 days but will try something different next time. Very good winery up a quiet road. Walkable but closes at 5pm”

“Overall, an okay little house. As other reviews state, both mattresses should be replaced. One is cheap and you feel the springs clearly, and the other is long in the tooth. Fridge had been replaced, but the old one bizarrely left on the deck next to the front door (!?). BBQ dirty on arrival. Didn't use it because of that. You get what you pay for with this one. Bird droppings all over the deck.”

“We had a lovely stay at Sunrise Cottage. Very quiet and relaxing location. Alan was a fantastic host and always there to help with any enquiries we had. Just a very small point, as we were staying for 6 nights we could have done with an extra towel each :) but other than that we were very impressed with the property and our stay”

“Cute little home close to walking tracks. Really appreciated the Dyson heater in bedroom. Messages advised earlier check in or late check out would be offered. This was not offered. Some UHT milk would have been appreciated as no close shops to buy any that time of day. ”

“Very well set up and equipped stay. Walking distance to beaches and rockpool. Highly recommend this home. Currarong is a quaint layed back coastal town not too far from Sydney. Will return in Spring. ”

“Called oz realty. Lovely girls in the office brought towels to help with the leaking front door. Continual leaks meant we walked on sodden towels for three days. Or had to mop up puddles in the kitchen. Very LOUD plumbing and toilet had to be turned off at night because it was running constantly. This was a great little studio. Beautifully appointed and an amazing comfy bed. Shame that building/maintenance issues have been overlooked”

“Periwinkle is a lovely sundrenched renovated home. It has all the essentials you need, is impeccably clean, with a great extended living space on the deck out the back and a huge yard that our pup absolutely loved. Being a winter stay, the aircon came in handy on some very cold nights! Its a stones throw from the beach and close to the local shops. My husband and I had a lovely week away and only wished we tagged on a few extra nights! We would definitely return on our next south coast getaway!”

“A very quaint and compact beach house. It was well kitted out and only a 5 minute walking distance to the beach. Lovely safe yard for the kids and dog. Opposite a bike track into Culburra. Great place for a week or more by the beach.”

“The only toilet had access available only externally, very inconvenient after sunset in dark and cold breeze. Mould on bedroom joinery and in shower, and a lot of incomplete joinery with gaps and rot and rising damp evident. No hot water plumbed to bathroom vanity.”
