We had a large group: 12 adults/children. This home provided everything you would need to entertain. What is unique about this property is the kitchen provided you with all essentials to cook, the bedrooms are comfortable, plenty of towels and bathroom essentials are provided. The home had several areas to hang out and the owners provide games, in addition to bikes in the shed. We will definitely be back!

Overall, this was a great place to stay. Great view of Lake Erie, playground, fun house for kids with 3 levels. Lots of room for large gatherings. Able to step outside and play, swim, or fish without having to drive. Nickel Plate Beach nearby was very nice for a bigger beach. Short drive to or from Cedar Point. We had a great time! The only complaint was that the outside trash containers were full upon our arrival. But the owner got back to us quickly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO! From the moment we arrived, everything was just as pictured—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The home was beautifully decorated, fully stocked with all the essentials (and more), and located in a peaceful, convenient area.The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in a breeze and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Whether we were relaxing on the patio, enjoying the comfy beds, or exploring the nearby attractions, we felt completely at home.It was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend, and we’re already talking about coming back. This house is perfect for a large family. The shower in the bathroom on the first floor with the laundry room was very small, but the exrtra large bathroom upstairs more than made up for it! Having the high chair and pack and play was super helpful and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need!! The family also loved playing foosball when it was rainy. We did enjoy being able to go down to the beach and to the playground too!! Would recommend this VRBO house! It worked out perfectly for us. And Ruthann was super easy to contact and responded VERY quickly to questions!

Shore house stay

The Shore House is an older home but furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The porches were incredibly comfortable. The loft rooms were exciting for our five children (12 and under) to play in but the spiral staircase was a little too hard for them to maneuver at night for restrooms so we kept them on the second floor, much to their disappointment. Beautiful park across the road with playground completed the week.

Perfect getaway

This was probably my favorite vacation ever these host had everything imaginable. There was not one thing that they forgot. It was absolutely perfect. This is definitely a place that I will recommend to friends and family..

Amazing Property

Great experience, the house is turn key and ready to go and when I say turn key this place has it all, if you are visiting just bring your food they have thought of everything. Huge props to the owners would recommend to anyone visiting the Sandusky area to book in here. You are only 15 minutes to Cedar Point so don't fret about being to far away.

Shore House, Sept 2024

We absolutely loved this property. Impressed with all the dishes and cooking pots and pans available to use. Beds were comfortable. Loved the Nautical decor. Our only issue was the weather was cool and damp, not a fault of the house at all. We will definitely consider this location when we vacation again.

Halloweekends!

We had a wonderful stay, Very beautiful historic home. The upgrades and views are absolutely stunning. Toiletries were fully stocked! we didn't even need to bring our own. Besides food You name it, Its there. Nice and spacious/cozy. The mattress on main floor could use an upgrade In size and comfort tho. Host was very pleasant to work with prompt. We spent time at Cedar Point and it was a nice quick beautiful ride along the coast

Great stay in Rye Beach!!!

The house on Shore Drive was perfect for us! We could easily get to the ferry for Put-in-Bay and to Cedar Point. Being right at the park, the little beach and the pier gave us plenty of space when we had downtime at the house. The house had all the amenities we could need and was comfortable for our group. It was really great!

Perfect for Cedar Point

Summer get-a-way

The house was large enough to accommodate all of us and we were very comfortable. It was a very nice home. The outside porch and upstairs porch had leaves, spiders, spiderwebs, and dirty seat cushions. We were unable to sit upstairs but we sat on the downstairs porch, but we had to make sure we weren't under a spiderweb. I would suggest maintaining the outside of the home too.

Great experience

Our time at Lake Erie was super fun. The bay is a little difficult to swim in as the ground is all rocks. But fun nonetheless. The broken pier was perfect for an afternoon of successful fishing. The home is cozy and has lots of extras, plenty of bath and beach towels, toys, and kitchen supplies. Washer and dryer were much appreciated! Host was so easy to call and text. One bike had flat tire, but 5 of us enjoyed a long bike ride. House temperature was easy to control. The deck was fun to explore. Porch overlooking the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed a fire (brought our own wood). Such a fun family location! The park right in front was quaint.

Amazing place

This house was amazing!!! The views were wonderful. I stay in a lot of places but this by far is the best, close proximity to Cedar Point made for an easy drive after a long day at the park. Inside the house was just as great. The hosts make sure you have everything you need for a stress free stay. I had 5 teenagers so you know they were going to forget something, no fear, the host had tooth brushes readily available. Games… playing cards… propane for the fire and grill…beach towels, literally EVERYTHING. Fully stocked seasoning cabinets?!?! Just amazing. Already recommended house to family and will most definitely be back.

Lake stay

The location is perfect with a nice view of the lake. All the extras that were included such as zip-lock bags, beach towels, beach chairs, spices etc. were great.
