Great little getaway
We very much enjoyed our anniversary getaway here. Very clean, neat cabin. Not very private or remote at all. That was the only slight disappointment. But in general we were well pleased. We enjoyed the wood stove a lot

Anniversary Weekend
We had an amazing stay. The property is beautiful (especially with the fall colours). It was relaxing and quiet, we enjoyed all the amenities, the hot tub and pizza oven were our favorites. We highly recommend and would return again.

Cabin was just what we were looking for. Great location. Hot tub was perfect after hiking the trails. Kitchen was well equipped and wood stove was nice on chilly nights. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Would stay again.

Secluded and Elegant
I had a lovely stay at Kate's Cottage in Huntsville. The cabin is set back from the road on a lovely treed lot. It feels secluded without being isolated. The decor is elegant, comfortable, and clean. The screened in gazebo was a great place to sit and read while listening to the wind in the trees, and the gentle sound of bird song. The window nook with the couch was also a fantastic reading corner, with large windows on three sides that gave a nice view of the forest. Deer went by the window a few times! The location is also good - close to Algonquin Provincial Park and Arrowhead Provincial Park. It is close enough to Huntsville that many restaurants will deliver, but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. All in all, I had a lovely stay.

Exactly what I was hoping for and more!
This cabin was a treat and honestly one of my favorite trips out north I’ve had in a long time. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was very tidy and easy to find. Can’t beat the location, it’s very quiet but you’re not too far away from other people which is calming at night. Just a 10 minute drive from the nearest town which is super cute and worth a good walk. There’s a Kawartha Dairy and a Beavertail boutique. Lots of nice areas to walk and see the lake. Will definitely be coming back here! Would love to see what the cabin is like in the fall!

Fantastic!!
This cottage is Heaven away from Home. Enjoyed our hikes, time by the lake, reading on the porch and enjoying the sound of the rain on the cottage roof early in the morning. Such a beautiful, romantic getaway!

Pizza Haven
Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hidden Haven! The cottage was clean, cozy and warm when we opened the front door! So inviting and comfortable! We used the pizza oven outside and made the most glorious pizza pies! The instructions provided in the package were perfect! A great place to stay, especially during the ski season.. literally steps from the lift! That wasn’t the purpose of our visit, but the walk down to the water was really nice. There’s villas right across the street, but the cottage felt private and the time spent in the cedar hot tub was brilliant! Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

Perfect winter cabin for two
We were very happy with our stay. The cabin looks very rustic but has all the modern conveniences you could want. The hot tub was great and loved having Hidden Valley across the road to be able to walk to the ski hill. The hosts answered every question we had quickly and the check-in was simple. Would happily go again.

We booked this cozy cottage for my wife’s 40th birthday. This cottage was warm, inviting and true to the picture. We had a wonderful time exploring the property and enjoying peaceful nights in the hot tub. This is a must book…we will be back for sure!

Lovely break in the hills
Lovely break with our dog at a quiet and private property that was exceedingly restful. The cottage had cute decor, comfortable furnishings, excellent resource info, and the pleasures of a perfectly warm outdoor cedar hot tub. The proximity to hiking trails, the Farmer’s Daughter grocer and Huntsville was ideal. The large outdoor pizza oven was fantastic.
