“Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. ”

“Wifi didn't work at my room at all, nice hotel with very good restaurant but nowadays good WIFI quality is a must, in a business trip very needed. Personally I found the mattress too soft.”

“Stunning place , soaked in history was just perfect for what we needed , lovely restaurant and brassiere fully deserves the four Stars they have , the grounds are beautifully manicured just a great place to go and relax. We tried out the Spa not too busy but had everything you needed. There are only a few little niggles if you had to pick something the carpet in our room looked tired but that’s it really. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant was very tasty...

“Disappointing service. My room was not cleaned at all. They said cleaning was on request, however they charged as hotel room, not apartment. I will not come back.”

“Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey.”
