Dirty, stinky, and could not stay there!
I hardly ever write bad reviews and I wasn't going to write one on this one because the host was very kind and quick to respond .... at first. However, circumstances have changed. Read on. We arrived to the house on Aug. 26, 2024 at 4:30pm it was obvious that someone had been smoking weed inside the house. It smelled so strong that two of my co-workers immediately got horrible headaches. They had to go outside for fresh air. The house was filthy and it was noticeable that it was not cleaned well at all. We immediately contacted the host, Tyler, and told him we could not stay there and to please refund our money. He apologized for the mess and the smell, and said he would speak with his partner and get us our money back and asked me to please not leave a bad review. I told him I wouldn't leave a bad review because he was responding so well and quickly with me and I really appreciated that! Well, it is now Oct. 21st, It's been almost 2 months, and I have not received my $1423.00 back. I have left him several messages and he is no longer responding to me. I feel cheated!

There were some small issues which were mostly handled in a timely manner over the week, but a very nice 3 story Condo with very nice pool and hot tub. Secure Parking and great view of downtown.

Spacious house
The house was very spacious. We found the instructions placed throughout the house useful. The pool was a nice treat. Once indoors, we could not hear outside noise. We had a small gathering, and this place was the perfect place to entertain!

The place was nice. My family enjoyed our time staying there. The pool was heated and great. However, parking was limited for multiple cars. Contact with host was a little difficult but when he did respond all issues were addressed.

Houston Business Trip
We recently attended a Trade Show at the GRB convention center. As opposed to everyone getting their individual hotel rooms, we decided to try VRBO as an alternate. I have to say that everyone enjoyed our trip much better as we were not cramped into a tiny hotel room for the week. The location is perfect for downtown activities, but far enough away if wanting to wind down. We look forward to booking this property again in the future. Great experience!

Colin’s Stay
Our stay at Tyler’s property was nothing less than amazing. The property is located downtown and perfect for bigger groups. It’s safe and secure and located across from a police station. You also have enough privacy in every part of the house. Def would book this place again. Tyler was also very communicative and checked on us periodically throughout the stay. 10/10 highly recommend.

Location was perfect
The furniture is outdated & needs to be upgraded. They also should put tv's in all rooms. I must say the beds were extremely comfortable & the house was clean. It accommodated my family & there were 17 of us! I think the house itself is nice but it can be extremely nice if furniture was updated! Besides that I'd overall give this house 5 stars!

Gathering Hub to safely celebrate multiple birthdays. Check in and Check out were clear and quick, no issues. Beds were super comfy and private. Family areas were spacious with plenty of seating. Kitchen was extremely clean. We are definitely planning to come back. Downtown View was breathtaking from any balcony. Note: Bring with your favorite snacks and drinks so you don’t have to go out. A couple of eateries in the immediate area.

Wonderful staycation.
This house is made for entertaining. Lots of room, Bluetooth ceiling speakers in every room, wet bar, pool table, hot tub, swimming pool, projector tv, etc but do it quietly as per the many reminders from the listing, house instructions, message from the owner and the sound moniters throughout the house otherwise you will be charged. If i were hosting a party or gathering at this house I would be a nervous wreck. But I wasn't and all was well. The owner was easy to communicate with and didn't freak out when I thought I broke his gate (I didn't) and even gave me a pretty substantial discount on adding additional nights to my stay. I feel like I have to give a heads up on things that I was not expecting. Don't expect high end luxury at this house. It's comfortable but could use updating and a deep clean. I'm glad I brought my own pillows. My main attraction to this house was the swimming pool and the location. The location was awesome and there are great views of the skyline from various spots in the house. I was slightly disappointed to see that the pool was not the cleanest but it was soooo hot I just didn't care. Not only did I swim twice a day everyday but in fairness I didn't bring this to the owner's attention. I enjoyed my stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

The property was great for my wife's birthday weekend. Large space for entertaining and the pool was good for the kids. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. Location was great if you are wanting to be in the heart of the city.

There was enough room for 11 people to sleep and enjoy family time together. I loved everything.
I didn't know there was a pool so I was overly excited overall because of that. It's a beautiful house and it felt like home away from away. Tyler was very prompt and made everything easy.

We celebrated our daughters 21st birthday with family and friends. The house was perfect for our gathering. It is a beautiful home. My daughter and her friends took a short uber ride to midtown nightlife while we enjoyed some steaks on the grill. Tyler is a wonderful host

BEWARE! PROPERTY IS FILTHY! HOST WAS GREAT, THEN WENT BACK ON HIS WORD PARTY HOME! NOT FOR FAMILIES!
I'm the sort of person who never writes negative reviews, as a business owner myself I don't believe in hurting someone's reputation unless I feel I have no other option. As the saying goes if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. This is one of those rare circumstances where I feel it is my absolute duty to warn others from staying at this home or at least give them an idea of what to expect. Let me start off by saying things started off really well between Tyler and myself before my stay he was very accommodating and responsive prior to my arrival. We had negotiated a fair rate for our extended stay and he was happy to work with us. Upon arrival in the home things started to go south and around that time Tyler actually reached out to find out if we had settled in. THE PROBLEM: The home was absolutely filthy, not the type of dirt that can be cleaned up by calling a cleaning crew in a day. I'm talking about dirt and dust everywhere that has accumulated over years. The dirt was so bad it would attract roaches, I killed 4 roaches during my 3 night stay! The garage was a mess, trash and broken junk laying around everywhere! The main master's stone shower had a layer of black mold and it reeked. Furniture & Appliances were old & filthy the cleaning crew forgot to clean the microwave, stove, and refrigerator so we had to clean them ourselves. The microwave actually had old food splattered all over it. The sink had a water leak underneath so we had to place a towel on the floor. We informed Tyler of all the issues we were having with the home and sent him pictures. He was very understanding and asked us what he can do to help. He offered to clean the place up but that clearly wasn't going to help the situation based on the place needing an extensive deep cleaning. He understood and asked what I thought could work. We had booked the place for a week so I requested him to allow us to leave early and I would book another place in town, He thought that was fair and sent me a detailed proposition in writing on the VRBO instant message platform agreeing to allow us to checkout early for a partial refund where we would only pay for the time we used. I was thrilled that Tyler came through yet again! He asked me not to leave him a negative review and agreed to clean the property. The following day he sent me a message stating he could not follow through as his partner didn't agree to the terms. I still can't believe it I feel cheated!

BEST STAYCATION LOCATION EVER.
My fiance and I were suppose to celebrate our birthday in Vegas. Well thanks to COVID our trip over labor day weekend was cancelled, we booked this house on a whim and so glad we did. I am not even sure where to start. From check in to check out it went so smooth. To start the home was clean and inviting. The bluetooth wireless speakers for the second and first floor was such a great feature. The projector on the second floor was a great feature as well. We enjoyed inside just as much as the pool and hot tub. The home is gorgeous. The master bedroom was incredible, I wish we could have enjoyed the sky line in the bathtub. But we were so busy enjoying the warm pool and hot tub that we decided we would just have to book another stay here. Every single person enjoyed the home. Any issues that did arise, tyler was very easy to reach. We decorated the pool area for our birthday party so easily. The skyline of downtown Houston from the hot tub at night is dreamy.The lighting from the patio lights and city creates such an ambiance that screams relaxation. If I could give any advice for staying here... if you plan on cooking, bring some extra pots and pans.There are some to use, but i cooked large meals and made the pans available work. But, it would make your life a little easier. Other than that, if you are looking for your sign to book this place... this is it. Also there a local place called Gus's Fried Chicken... stop by and try it.

Bachelor Party weekend in Houston
This property was amazing. It looks just as good as it does in the photos. A few friends came into town for a bachelor party and we stayed here. It is in close proximity to anything you decide to do in Houston. The host, Tyler, is also amazing to work with. The communcation was great throughout the entire process, from booking all the way through the trip.

Oasis in the City
Tyler's place is a perfect location to enjoy a little oasis in the city. The pool/hot tub area offers beautiful views of both the lush greenery and piece of the Houston skyline. Also, the front balcony was a perfect place to savor a private dinner with sunset views! The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, and we even enjoyed a morning stroll to an artsy cafe nearby. Checking in and out was easy and Tyler was readily available to answer all of our questions.
