TERRIBLE experience
After reaching out a week before the reservation to request a change in reservation (HARD freeze forecasted, family emergency) the owner took over 48 hours to respond - and when he did, he just sent a copy of the cancellation policy explaining he wouldn't amend, adjust or work with me - and refused any refund. I asked again for ANY help with the reservation - and he didnt respond until the day OF the booking. At this time, I explained my disappointment in his customer service skills and informed him that it would be reflected in my review. I figured kiddo and I might as well go.....We get there AT 9PM after my 12hr shift, attempt to gain access - and thats when the owner explains HE IS REFUSING ENTRY because I threatened a bad review. I didn't THREATEN, I promised. His "customer service" is lacking, to say the least. VRBO couldn't even get him on the phone - its 930pm and 29 degrees, in the middle of NO WHERE - and he is refusing entry because I expected DECENT customer service and timely responses. Refusing entry and couldn't even tell me BEFORE we made the 2 hour drive.... He goes on to tell me he doesn't want me on the property, that his entire family is there and that I "need to leave." VRBO CSR FINALLY gets him on the phone and he's RUDE TO THEM as well. Who cant be BOTHERED to tell a PAYING TENANT that the reservation isnt being honored for NO VALID REASON, but he also wasn't issuing a refund?save your money!
