Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. Everything was very clean, fully equipped, Inc. shampoo and conditioner, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, etc. John has been a great host, he invited us to Saint John,s party, with his family and friends and It was very nice. The location is unbeatable, the views of both the sea and mountains can’t be emphasised enough. We had great weather and were able to sit out each day and just enjoy the view and the peace and quiet. The hosts were so friendly and knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting information.

Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cette jolie maison parfaitement équipée et située dans un petit coin de nature preservée. Nous avons particulièrement appreciée la vue sur la mer et le cocooning au coin du poêle. Si nous en avons l'occasion nous reviendrons avec plaisir. John et son épouse sont charmants et accueillants. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche. Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war herzlich. Das Haus ist geräumig und der Blick auf's Meer ist spektakulär! Das Mobiliar ist teilweise in die Jahre gekommen, trägt jedoch zum Charme des Hauses bei.

The house was spacious and a perfect view of the bay. The April weather was perfect to stay at this house. You needed the heat when you got up and the rest of the day was perfect. This location allowed us to travel and see places like the Aran Islands, and shop. I would stay here again.

Our host greeted us upon arrival and did a thorough walk through with us to show us around and how to operate everything. The home heats with wood stoves and a boiler so she helped get everything started and warmed up. The bedrooms suited us perfectly - we had 4 adults and 5 kids age 10-15 and the set up worked great. The home is very private but easy to find.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Glinsk Bay Holiday Rental in Connemara, Galway, and "perfect" doesn't even begin to describe it! The location is stunningly serene, with breathtaking views across the bay and the mountains as a picturesque backdrop. Every morning, we were greeted with the beauty of the landscape right outside the windows, reminding us we were in a truly magical place. The holiday home itself was cozy, charming, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The house’s traditional Connemara charm paired with all the modern comforts made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. From the warm interior to the lovely garden and surrounding stone walls, every detail added to the experience. The peacefulness of the bay and the surrounding countryside allowed us to disconnect from the usual hustle and bustle, while still having easy access to local amenities and the captivating sights of Connemara. This is truly a hidden gem, and we can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for a getaway where you can unwind and soak in Ireland's natural beauty, Glinsk Bay Holiday Rental is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in this nice house 6 nights. We were 8 adults and two kids under two years. We felt so welcome and it was like being home. The house is so cozy and well prepared! Especially the kids liked the music toys. The owner had everything beautifully decorated for my mom’s 60 th birthday. Thank you so much! Hope we can come again! Greetings Katharina

Photographs do not do the views from this property any justice, they were stunning. We were incredibly lucky with the weather which no doubt helped. The house has everything you might need for a 2 week stay and the kitchen was well equipped. The nearest restaurant was a brisk 15 minute walk which was perfect. Our only issue was that a couple of the mattresses were not as comfortable as we would have liked but it didn't hamper our stay and would not stop me from recommending this house for a family get-a-way for anyone else. The owners made us feel very welcome.

Gite superbement positionné pour une découverte de la région. Situé tout au bord de l’océan, c'est très agréable et avons profité d'une vue superbe toute la durée du séjour. Avons pu nous rendre sans difficulté aux 4 coins du pays et apprécier les différents paysages qui composent cette belle contrée. Je le recommande sans hésitation.

I had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The cottage has all you need like home from home. It is located just a few metres from the sea with the Connemara mountains in the distance. Its idea for exploring the rugged coast, the mountains, the fjord and lochs. With many walks to enjoy. There is a nearby pub that serves great food. John and Mairead are super hosts.John keeps a distant but watchful eye and would be there to help should the need arise. I would recommend for families or smaller group. I spent a month there and was sad to leave. Thank you John it was a pleasure to have met you and to stay at your wonderful cottage.

The home was just as described and the owners are absolutely delightful and helpful. The location is beautiful with easy access to so many points of interest. I can’t recommend this home enough. Our only complaint was not being able to stay longer.
