“We had a large group of friends in multiple houses for a long weekend. This house was perfect for what we needed, we didn't entertain just sleep and shower and hang out for a little but between activities. I would say chances are great that we return for a yearly trip visiting some residents that live in the area. The lake and surrounding areas are fun and the cleaner then anyone could imagine. Amazing spot to visit in Michigan!”

“We were looking for a quick little getaway that was far enough away from the city but not all the way “up north” and this was the perfect little spot for our family. Our 18 month old loved the water, and was great how much walkable water space there was for him. With the 4 of us, felt like a great amount of space inside and had everything we needed. “We selected this place due to its access to Houghton Lake and because it was a great home base to be able to venture out and see various sites in Northern Michigan. It did not disappoint. The place was spotless with a small stock of snacks/beverages upon arrival. We had some confusion about using the door code to get in and the property manager walked us thru it immediately - very helpful. Just be aware that if you intend to do a trip that will entail washing clothes, this place does not...
