This house was amazing!!! This is definitely a must-stay location if you’re in the Hot Springs, SD area. Deanna was a great host and even went so far as to call and check on us after she received a report of a power outage at the property. One thing to note on the listing - one spot says “no WiFi” and another says something like “Internet access in the house”. I took that to mean there was direct-connect internet but there is not so if you need internet access while traveling bring a hotspot. It absolutely was not a big deal as I was able to use my phone as a hotspot to get the little bit of work done that I needed to meet a deadline on. In hindsight it was probably a blessing because it was great to be disconnected and offline for a few days. One other note, completely unrelated to the property - everything in Hot Springs closes early (9 at the latest, with the exception of one Mexican restaurant we found which stayed open until 10). So if you’re out exploring Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, or any of the other amazing sites in this region like we were, be sure to plan your dinner accordingly if eating out. Bottom line - I would definitely stay here again and also recommend it to friends and family. Thank you Deanna for your hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with us!
