Really hot and no AC as listed .
The home was amazing and I love the neighborhood that is why we booked . The only issue was the AC decided not to work while it was 95 degrees . I would also recommend a forest fire warning of some type . There were two campgrounds within 6 miles that has an emergency evacuation while we were there . I kept a close eye since there’s only 1 exit off the lake :)

A hidden gem
A very nice little neighborhood on Lake Cushman. Host was very nice. We loved walking through the roads and seeing the character of the houses. No cell phone service but fast internet, both of which were a plus for us! Would definitely rent again here.

Good Location
We stayed at the cabin for a couple of nights. The place was clean and had plenty of room for the four of us. We were able to have our dog with us which was great.The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and things for cooking. There was a burn ban so we were unable to use the fire pit. Location was close to hiking trails. Communication with Darla was never a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very special place
We are a family of 2 in 60s, 2 in 30s (with twins), and 2 dogs 8-). Darla/the house and amenities was perfect!! She thought of everything from arriving with sweets post long drive, to stores ingredients, and every type of tool to ensure our family cookouts were complete - she had! The rooms are large, the nights are so quite/cool/wonderful! We just couldn't have been happier - thanks much! Alisa & Tim

Best family memories made here!
The check in process was easy. Darla was very responsive to all our questions which made the stay that much more enjoyable! Location of the cabin was ideal for going to the parks or hiking. Such a cozy cabin feel on the inside. My family will always have this lake vacation memory. We will be back!

Wonderful vacation!
The cabin was far better than expected. It is truly loved and well cared for, with a new interior including new appliances and good quality furniture, tvs, and kitchen equipment. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the dishes and utensils you need, and then some. Generously stocked with key rigs and other essentials. We felt very welcomed with nice touches like towels folded into animal shapes and chocolates and the s’mores packet. The beds were extremely comfortable and the water is hot, perfect for showering after the lake. The fire pit and outdoor tables were wonderful and the beach was nearby and absolutely amazing. The rooms are more spacious than they seem on the photos. We just loved this lovely cabin and will definitely come back. It is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever had! Thank you!!!

Great Place to Stay, Thoughtful Owners
The house was very clean, pots & pans were clean, good quality silverware, and all in great condition. I hate it when the pots & pans are all scratched. Here, the owners even had a paper lining between nestled pans. Also, very thoughtful to include pretty much everything you could possibly want, firewood, smore kit, chairs, well equipped kitchen, board games, extra blankets, etc.

Girls Weekend Away
We had such a great time! Cabin was perfect, would highly recommend for a girls weekend away or a family excursion. Lake Cushman is beautiful and the paint a rock box can be enjoyed at all ages.

A woodland gem
This place was fantastic! A nice little cabin in the woods. Perfect for just relaxing. The host makes you feel like your in a 5 star hotel with all the small amenities anyone could want. There is coffe and a great coffee maker. Plenty of cooking utensils and pans and dishware. An awesome HOT shower. Best of all, it was super clean. Whoever does their cleaning after guests is awesome and deserves major props. Such a great place for a great price. We will definitely be back here again.

Campfire at Cushman
Tidy, well spaced home to stay in near the entrance of Lake Cushman Division 2. Well-laid out home that comfortably slept my wife and I along with our 3 children. We could drive over to the community park easily and park with the owner's pass. Best park for kids and lake recreation on the whole lake. Outdoor deck was big enough to host a couple additional people for dinner, who were staying at another rental nearby. We used the fire pit, which the owner had provided s'mores ingredients and a fire starter stick. Super quiet area but no cell phone reception so know how to turn on wi-fi calling on your phone after connecting to the home internet.

“Disl do” will most definitely do!
The cabin location and amenities were perfect for family get together with adult children. We loved the beauty of the lake and close proximity to Staircase Olympic Park and forest for day hikes and afternoon swim. The extra touch of s’more makings and cooking essentials was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The fire pit enticed us to choose this property and we are so glad we did.
