“We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. “Rose Cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable and was just what we needed for a short break. Sue the host was lovely and left a pint of milk in the fridge and popped round to put the heating on for us. The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located for visiting the surrounding area. We had a wonderful break and would definitely return. There was a lovely pub called The Duck at Burtle which was very nice and about 15 mins drive.”
