"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...

"On arrival at the property we were a bit unsure of the area but after meeting Juan Jose the host we were sure we had made a good choice. the apartment was excellent with everything we needed was in house. "A beautifully designed property with obviously great care being taken. Nicely located for our purposes which were a first visit to Northern Spain with plenty of sightseeing and walking. As a peaceful and rural location it didn't have bars/restaurants/shops on the doorstep but it was only a short 20 minute drive to Reinosa which had supermarkets and restaurants or half an hour to the more substantial Torrelavega. The property was well equipped and in very good condition."

"The hosts were fantastic, they responded to queries quickly and were really helpful. They also gave us produce from their garden including delicious green peppers and tomatoes. The house itself needs some updating, but it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was perfect for a splash about on hot afternoons. We had a lovely holiday exploring the coast, the Picos de Europa and sampling local cuisine. The location was good for getting out and about by car."
