Property is beautiful and the area is so peaceful. It's a great getaway to relax. Waterways for boating, kayaking etc. The owner has furnished the home with beautiful pieces with personal touches that make it welcoming - it does not feel like a rental. The owner has truly thought of all the details to make this property so enjoyable!

Easy access to Savannah
Loved this property. Away from the hustle and bustle. We felt right at home with our furbaby. Loved the creek and dock. The swing out back. Sat on front porch when it rained a little. Everything we needed was here. Ate at Smokin Pig our first night. It was delicious. Did not get out on kayaks soooo we'll have to come back. Beautiful community and very quiet and peaceful. Beyond Our Expectations
We chose this place for its size and dollar value. We ended up loving it for the extra things we didn’t even care about when we booked. It was one of the best-supplied places we have stayed: kayaks, crab cages, games, dishes, etc. We were also pleased that there were no hidden costs. Unlike some very impersonal feeling places, this place was like staying in someone’s home.

We loved the house and location. Very peaceful and relaxing! House is located on a brackish water canal so we went crabbing off of dock and fished. We also enjoyed the kayaks available at property. It's also great if you have furbabies! Our family enjoyed and would love to come back! Highly recommend!!

I can not stop raving about our stay in Midway! Carol our property Host was amazing from a Guest Book with everything you need to know about the property and surrounding area to the actual home and not to mention the backyard/ creek and amenities! I can not describe the magical feel of the home and the live oaks that surround it...you have to come and stay for yourself!

Relaxing weekend
This was a great place to spend a relaxing weekend with family, friends and our 2 dogs. We enjoyed the front deck, back deck and the fishing dock. We were able to catch enough crabs for a nice dinner. I would recommend this to anyone looking for 3 bedroom rental.

Loved it here!
We were coming to the Savannah area but prefer to have somewhere quieter to retreat to for the evening. So although this was about a 35 minute drive from Savannah we were very happy with our stay here! The home is very nicely cared for and we absolutely loved that they are dog friendly. We prefer to travel with our dog when we can & it was great to have him along & enjoy a fenced in backyard. The neighborhood was also very nice to take him for walks. Our teenage son loved the kayaks! He used them every day and even got his sister to go out with him once. If traveling to Savannah with a dog, please know that Savannah is very dog friendly. We brought our dog with us some days if they were going to be longer days and we walked around all over. We even enjoyed some outside eating with him while on Tybee Island. We also want to mention that the beds and pillows were very comfortable. When traveling it is hard to find a bed that isn't too hard or too soft and we found these to be perfect. We also enjoyed a night of sitting around the fire roasting some marshmellows with the kids. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

Stopped here while moving the family to a new state. It was a great place to let our toddler run around and relax. It’s a nice quiet house with plenty of space. We’d love to come back someday!

Great memories
We really enjoyed staying here. Our kids and dogs loved running around out back and we made the most of all the fun things to do. The canoee and firepit were our favorites. We fished off the dock every day and drove to Savannah twice. Wormsloe is definitely worth checking out. Only thing I would say was a negative was at night you don't want to forget your bug spray, but we used off deep woods dry spray and they didn't bother us after that. Overall great experience and we loved the property.

Peace on the water
Great place to chill, the deck is amazing with so many levels to sit, read a book, have a beer, watch the family play, roast marshmallows etc.. big back yard.. hope to bring our dogs next time!! The Owners have games galore and dvd's and VHS movies to watch... which we did (an oldie but goodie, "Somewhere in Time")... This place feels like home for sure!!!
