We were in Hilton Head for a week to watch our daughter’s performances at the Southeastern Summer Theater Institute and needed a place that could accommodate 6-7 people and one dog. This place checked all the boxes of our needs. While the unit was a bit dated and the floor was uneven outside of the kitchen, we had no major complaints.
Of note: It took a day or two to figure out how to get the upstairs bedrooms cool enough at night, but we finally sorted that out. Restaurants, CVS, Walgreens and Publix were walkable / bikeable OR a very short car ride away (just had to fight traffic). It was so hot and steamy that we didn’t use the bikes / walking as much as I planned. Thankfully there is a lot of shade around for the times we did. The coffee bar was great and we took advantage of it daily. One other great thing about this unit is the number of bathrooms- it was nice to have a half bath downstairs and two full bathrooms upstairs.
We did the use one of the community pools a few times and it was fine. My 9-year old was pleased to discover that it was 8 feet deep, so he could practice swimming.
The host was incredibly accommodating and communication was excellent.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a budget-friendly, dog-friendly, family-friendly stay on Hilton Head!
