“Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. ”

“The hotel is quite dated but this adds to the character. The room itself needs some updated furniture, more privacy on the windows, especially the toilet window as there was no way of keeping that up and if it was kept propped up it was in full view of the main road. There was a mix up with the rooms that meant somebody else took the breakfast we paid for and nothing was offered back to us.”

“By and large it was very good. My niggles - restaurant menu limited and nothing very healthy; kitchen closes at 8.30; continental breakfast overpriced; only one comfortable chair in the bedroom; a bit too golf oriented to my taste. However, service excellent and friendly, and quite a good location to explore central and north Somerset”
