El MAUNA LOA SHORES está justo en el océano en HILO; Una ciudad excepcional con mucho que hacer aquí en el lado este de nuestra hermosa isla. El Beach Park de al lado, donde puedes nadar con las tortugas marinas, es una experiencia única en la vida. Mis 45 años como residente y 42 años como agente de bienes raíces aquí le asegurarán que sepa a dónde ir y qué hacer para que sea la estadía perfecta.

Bellamente decoradas y amuebladas, las mejores en las playas de Mauna Loa ... La mejor vista del Carlsmith Beach Park al lado. Tu cama da a las olas. El mejor lugar para su estadía en Hilo. Mauna Loa Shores es ECO amigable con energía solar eléctrica !!!! Le encantará el condominio, las comodidades, las vistas, nuestra ciudad de Hilo. Nuestro pedazo de paraíso espera tu estadía. 1brm 1bth con cama queen size en brm. más sofá cama en la sala de estar para un tercer huésped. Cocina completa, wifi, este condominio lo tiene todo. INCLUSO TV inteligente con Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. PERO la última característica es que Carlsmith Beach Park, justo al lado, es el mejor para nadar y bucear. Casi siempre las tortugas marinas. Acceso EZ al océano, arrecife protegido. Hermoso césped con enormes árboles, piscinas de marea. Realmente uno de los mejores lugares en cualquiera de las islas.

Hilo Town es un lugar muy especial. No turístico como Honolulu, Maui y tal, un verdadero encanto de Hawai. En este momento la lava fluye hacia el océano, un espectáculo para la vista. Se pueden hacer tours de lava. Volverás una y otra vez.

Nice location
We enjoyed our stay in Hilo. The view is amazing and being able to just walk to the beach/lagoon and see turtles was so fun. I liked the location just a bit out of town, but easy to drive everywhere. Even though Maunaloa Shores is on a main road, our unit was quiet. The patio and bedroom windows are on the ocean side. Would stay here again.

Great stay, great price!
The apartment was decently equipped—plenty of kitchen stuff for light cooking, plenty of towels, boogie boards etc, very comfortable and incredible views of the sea. Easy access to swimming with turtles.

Charming Hilo
We enjoyed Hilo because it had more character and history and less of a resort feel. The condo met our needs perfectly as a couple. It was spotless, quiet, and well stocked. Proximity to Carlsmith Beach was as a bonus, and we loved the night sounds of the distant surf and night birds. There is much to do, and the property manager gave us great suggestions for excursions and dining though we dined in all but one night due to the incredible, daily farmer’s market. The weather in Hilo in December was incredible with five rainless days and no need for air conditioning.

Lagoon gorgeous
I’m glad that the lagoon is public. It does get pretty busy on sunny weekends. Nearby botanical gardens are much cooler than Kīlauea.

The place was clean & check in was easy. You have to drive through an industrial neighborhood in order to get to the condo which isnt that nice. But, once you are there the beach and condonis very nice

Beautiful View & Location
This is a great place to stay! Walking distance to the beach! Beautiful View from the bedroom and lanai! Comfortable bed! Everything that you could need for cooking, snorkeling, and just enjoying your stay without having to drive anywhere if you don't want to! I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay!
This is the perfect home base for a few days of exploring the Hilo area. The apartment is comfortable, clean, nicely appointed. All the basics and more are provided. Terry gave good information, replied promptly to my queries. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Hilo.

Wow the pictures don’t lie. Right in the cove, fishes turtles and swimming out the back door. Trails to another cove as well. Perfect location, the condo was clean, organized and had everything we could want to adventure around. Coming back!

The view!
This vacation rental is a gem. It was clean, well stocked and possibly the best view on the island. Our favorite thing to do was walk next door to Carlsmith Beach Park and hang out in the water. We saw sea turtles there several times. If I ever go back to the big island I would want to stay here again.

Perfect location for a quiet stay at Hilo
I am going to start with the positives first. The location is perfect for quiet evenings after a day of sightseeing around the island. The neighborhood is not touristy and busy like Kona. The condo is about 40 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. The condo has a beautiful view of Carlsmith Beach Park from the balcony and a very short walk to the water. There are ladders to the water and the water was shallow. We were able to see schools of fish and several turtles in the water at dusk. The unit itself was very comfortable and inviting. The unit had everything we needed for a family stay with all kitchen gadgets, sundry items (sunblock, beach towels, sewing kit, umbrellas), and sports equipment (pool noodles, snorkels, fins, bodyboards, etc.). We saved some money by not having to rent snorkeling equipment, buying umbrellas, and by making some meals at home. The building also has a pool for swimming laps. The Seaside Restaurant across the street served some pretty good seafood. Terry (the property manager) responded quickly to inquiries and had a binder at the entry way with all sorts of useful information and recommendations. I only had two items that were minor issues. One needs to sign a rental agreement for a stay in the unit and the elevator keys were a bit sticky and took a few minutes of trying to make them work. However, if one doesn’t mind either of those things, the stay is well worth it. I would stay here again if I come back to Hilo.

Great Vacation
Had an amazing time! The property is clean, beautiful and offers access to the beach park next door (but there are several right down the road if you like to snorkel) Loved being able to go without having to pack up and find parking! Quiet building with the most friendly residents. The property manager was responsive and very helpful. The property is close to shopping and dining. The local farmers market was wonderful! Loved our visit and would stay again!

More then comfortable
Well appointed (well stocked), great location. Near enough to Hilo but basically at Carls Smith Park. Swimming, snorkeling, turtle watching. I also really enjoyed the pool. Very clean and under used so it was quiet and peaceful.
