“An ideal location for a quiet getaway. Perfectly clean and well looked after. Well equipped with beautiful views I cannot recommend this home and location enough. Just a simple 80 minute ride from Auckland; it's easy to get to and remote enough to feel like you are away from the rush of everyday life. Matakanna, the closest village is about a 10 minute drive with some good local amenities. The property owner was a delight to work with and were flexible when I wanted to check-in early. Overall...

“My husband and I had a lovely time away. Location is perfect. We settled in (check in was super easy) and then headed over for dinner at Jin Jins (great portion sizes). We then wandered down to the movie theatre and surrounding area for an evening stroll then headed back to the accomodation for a few drinks in the outdoor area in front of the fire pit. In the morning the markets were on so again we strolled down the road, had breakfast and meandered around the markets before beginning our trip...

“It's a really nice house, close to the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell, which is what we wanted. Christine is really nice to deal with, and our communications were all excellent. We didn't use any other site facilities besides the part of the house we were renting, but that was well appointed and comfortable. The only negative is the lack of actual kitchen facilities, which is a bit of a hassle for organising food and doing dishes.”
