Este nuevo listado, Brown Bear Hideaway es muy conveniente a 2 millas del centro de Hiawassee, Georgia. La casa se encuentra en un lote privado con muchos árboles y es privada. Mountain View!
We enjoyed our month at the cabin. The view of the mountains from the screened porch is exactly as advertised. The cabin is cozy and clean and comfortable. It’s not very close to any other cabins, so privacy and serenity are assured. The hosts were very responsive and happy to help with any request, communication could not have been better.

Masters getaway
Totally loved the property, especially that back screened in porch with metal roof. It rained almost the entire trip, but the storms were soothing to listen to because of the roof. Talked to the host while we were there, very receptive and welcoming. Will go again.

Greatest view
Everything was clean and orderly. No problems at all. Loved the view through the glass doors and from the wonderful porch. Easy to get to and close to town and Brasstown Bald, but feels remote. Karen is a very attentive host.

Perfect start to finish!!
It was a last minute reservation and I was grateful they were able to accommodate me and my 2 dogs. I printed the directions, mountains loses signal and GPS. Their directions were very clear. Print them, you will probably won’t need them unless you’re coming from the south. Between Helen and cabin lost signal for about 15 miles. Their directions reassured late at night that I was still going in the right direction. They also were nice about me texting when I arrived (no matter how late). I got a bundle of wood on my way up to the cabin. It was flat covered parking and very well lit. Absolutely beautiful. Easy check in too. My dogs (1 senior and 1 puppy) both enjoyed the backyard off leash. Ideal for dogs of any age and abilities. They ran full speed in the woods and got to experience how fun it is to BE a dog. Everything was clean and very well maintained. Accessibility was easy with all the porches and sliders. I slept so good, in the bedroom on the main floor. Street is private, seen 1 car drive past.The towels they offer guests are super thick and absorbing. Water is soft, best for less hair product..lol. The fireplace was one of my favorite features of the cabin! The wood at the Bell Shack smells amazing! I was impressed by the owner’s proactive response to a broken thermostat, that I didn’t know about. He and repair man were professional and respectful. I came to nap so didn’t do much. Helen, is a must visit. Will explore the area more next visit. Will be back 4 sure!!!!

Awesome cabin in Hiawassee, GA
Awesome views, beautiful large outside deck area, easy paved road up to cabin, very comfortable beds, and a great host that was very helpful! If you are bringing dogs, there could more lighting outside for them at night. Highly recommend this lovely cabin.

Relaxing and beautiful respite in the mountains.
We loved the large screened in porch with comfy furniture to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine while appreciating the spectacular view of the Appalachian mountains. Off the screened-in porch is another porch area with table for six and nice grill. Not only could you eat there, but it was a nice outdoor area to work from. 
 One thing to note the master suite with king size bed is downstairs and could be difficult for the aged to descend the deep stairs. Other than that... all the bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of closet space and TV in each room. There is a second family area downstairs. Very comfortable to read, work, watch TV or play a game of foosball. The main level also has a family room area with large TV to enjoy with plenty of networks and programs to choose from. Would highly recommend Brown Bear Hideaway for a relaxing mountain get away, especially if you want to bring the family dog since they are very dog friendly.😊

Cozy Getaway
This was our first trip without the kiddo and it was everything we needed it to be! The cabin has an incredible view while being in a very convenient location. It is only a few minutes from the main road and town, but still far enough up the mountain it is secluded and quiet. A short drive further up the road is Bell Mountain Overlook which has the most amazing view and is a must see! The cabin was also so clean and very cozy. Looking forward to our next trip here

Great views as we enjoyed our morning coffee or hot chocolate from the screened deck! Plenty of space and enjoyed having TVs in the different rooms. Nice parking spots with plenty of area to get in and out with no problems. Well stocked kitchen with essentials and some extras. We really liked the fact that we didn't have a list of many things to do before we left!!! Place was very clean including the deck area. Would stay again when we come back to this area.

This place felt like home from the beginning of our stay. Not ornate, fancy or kitschy,just homey and comfortable. Best view ever! Well stocked, quiet and great sleeping. I’d love to stay again soon!
