“This is a very nice place, comfortable and cosy. Big rooms with good equipment and comfortable beds. Extremely friendly staff. It's located in a very centric location, 5 min from the train station and the city centre and all bus stops. It's in the main street of "weekend night life" (if you like to go party, the have discounts for a nightclub), so it may be a bit noisy during weekends... but the rest of the week is very quiet. For a B&B (not hotel) is probably the best I have been.”

Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience.
We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect.
Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right).

“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”
“We were visiting friends in Cromer Pier Show and I wanted to book a last minute Hotel. The Holiday Inn was the closest (over 20 miles away) and available and the best rate.
I didn’t realise breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise when the receptionist informed us at check in.
We could have used the pool, but didn’t have time in the end. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My son and I will be back next year, unless we camp in Cromer.

“I stayed along with 3 friends for 4 nights and we all thought the hotel was beautiful from the outside and its setting right next to the river is fantastic. Parts of the hotel are a little tired and the unmodernised bedrooms need a facelift although theyre perfectly comfortable. Breakfast is good but the addition of fruit and yoghurts would give more variety for those who dont want the cooked option. All the staff are polite and friendly and I would recomment this hotel for a quiet, relaxing...
“Just what you would expect from a seaside hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful we had a great evening meal, that we were not disappointed with. This was great as we really did fancy fish and chips sat beside the sea wall !! The room was well stocked with tea, water, biscuits and good to see plenty of the individual milk containers.
The breakfast was up there with the best all freshly cooked and hot.”

One star lost for Eco -friendly because no container for recycling, tiny plastic containers for shampoo and my hand towel was unnecessarily replaced (although i appreciate the good intentions). I had a lovely room with antique-type decorations. ”
