Beautiful home with a beautiful view
My family of four plus our two doggies enjoyed our week stay in this gorgeous home for our first trip to Michigan! The view couldn’t be beat! We could see Mackinac Island in the distance. The home was well-stocked with all your basic needs plus some extras. We enjoyed having the kayaks. While it was in a small town, we were able to drive 20 min or less to get to good food and historic sites.

Amazing Property!
This house is absolutely so beautiful! This house felt loved and perfectly stocked for visitors. It was so spacious and comfortable. I wish the weather was a little warmer for the kayaks, but we’ll just have to come back soon!

Best weekend!
We loved staying at this beautiful spot. Hessel has a fabulous farmers market with delicious vendors and the drive to the Mackinac Island Ferry was super easy! Wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back!

Lake Side Getaway
Beautiful cottage away from it all on the water. One of my favorite VRBOs. Location was serene and exactly what I was looking for. Loved every moment of our stay.

Best ever Vrbo!
Gorgeous property and so well equipped, with all the extras from kayaks to a basket of throw blankets for chilly nights to the double coffee pot station to the well stocked kitchen (tons of toddler friendly dishes and utensils!) The firepit and marshmallow sticks were perfect! This property was nice and clean too. The only thing missing was an ice cream scoop! We so appreciated this dog friendly home, and especially extra dog towels in the cupboard, as our dogs loved swimming!

Stunning views, serene location, beautiful home
This home is even more beautiful than the photos, with every attention to detail paid to insure guests are comfortable. Beautifully decorated, clean, with everything you need. Loved the coffee cart, the reading nooks on both floors, and the views of the sunsets were amazing. It was all we could have hoped for and more. Our highest recommendation!

The Bayside bungalow was a wonderful rental. Everything was very clean and up to date. Check in and out was a breeze. Geese, ducks, and cranes were the entertainment for our pups. They made sure to keep guard at all times :) Thank you!!

Amazing stay!
This home was everything and more! We had such a wonderful time - the kitchen was great and well equipped, the kids had a blast kayaking, playing cornhole, and making s’mores by the fire pit at night. We felt like we had Lake Huron all to ourselves!! We will definitely be back!

Great for a Sisters getaway!
Rental was gorgeous and I, along with my four sisters, enjoyed the stay very much. We prepared many meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms were cozy and comforting. I enjoyed walking up the beach and we all enjoyed seeing the geese and I believe they were loons floating by and fishing. Thank you very much!

Highly recommend this listing when visiting the Great Lakes and Mackinac Island! Beautiful view directly on the lake. Bungalow exceptionally clean and well stocked with anything you would need. Sleeping accommodations very comfortable. Everything top quality with attention to detail!!! Would recommend purchasing groceries prior to arrival as the town is small and limited on what one might like/need. Only recommendation would be a small free standing fire pit on the deck to stay warm and enjoy the view during the chilly, spring months. Very much enjoyed our stay!!!! Great listing!!!

Peaceful Getaway
Beautiful, clean and updated home with the most gorgeous view. We had a great getaway and would love to come back for Summer. My only note is that it is a very far distance (30 min) to the nearest grocery store and very few restaurants. Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, it may have been the time of year we came (end of March). Overall, a wonderful stay!

Winter hiking in the Snows
The Bayside bungalow was a great rental. Exceptionally clean with modern appliances. Deer were omnipresent at the cabin so our dog had plenty to guard us from. The Hessell area was very quiet. Being here the first week of the new year must be the key to solitude.

The Cutest Rental!
Has everything you need! Even wireless chargers for every room, heated beds for the colder nights, and everything has been updated. Amazing view, quiet area and great stay! Would definitely stay again.

Perfection
Everything was absolutely perfect. The Bayside Bungalow exceeded every expectation. Despite lousy weather during our stay, we had an incredibly relaxing time with incredible views and comfort. House was equipped with everything we could possibly need and was warm and inviting. We will be back! It’s the best experience we’ve had with VRBO by far.

Idyllic Lakeshore Retreat
Our stay was wonderful as it was a true getaway. This home was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and well equipped for a family group to rest, relax, tour the UP, and cook family meals. We would definite stay here again.

Impeccable Lake House
My family and I stayed for a week (4 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs). This house was AMAZING. Very well taken care of, and extremely clean. The owners even made a custom welcome/guide book with very helpful information about the house and the area. The house is not secluded, but the trees provide privacy from the neighbors. We spent most of our time on the deck, gazebo, or the beach. We all had a wonderful time. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a clean, modern, but charming house on the beach.
