The view was great and the house was spacious. Working with the property management company was also easy and professional. The kids loved the trampoline float and the fishing was amazing!Cons: grass was not cut (we were told due to rain), there seemed to be mold in one of the smaller bedroom closets and bathrooms. The windows had dead bugs and dust. The cover on the beds had dog hairs and stains on them.All in all the view and house were nice but I would recommend a different cleaning crew.

House is in a great location! Loved the cove for floating and the covered porch for porch sitting! The house is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Driveway can be an issue if you have a boat.

A Perfect Getaway

A wonderful place to stay! This was our first time at Lake Gaston and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and spacious but we spent most of our time outside on the covered deck- our favorite part of the house. We love that the home was dog friendly- our pup loved lounging on the covered deck and dock with us. We enjoyed using the paddleboards and kayak for swimming during the day, using the grill for burgers at lunch, and lighting the fire pit at night. We loved the privacy of the dock and the home. The grocery store, coffee shop and places to eat were about a 15 minute drive and easy to access. It was only 2 of us and our dog, but 2 or 3 couples or a family could easily stay here and have enough room and privacy to relax. Only thing I would improve: I wish there were more hooks or towel bars for bath towels after showers. We also didn’t receieve a welcome email or info email the day before about the keycode to the home- I had to reach out to the property owners the morning of check-in. They were very responsive to my note, but a notice 24 hours before would have been nice. Overall we loved being able to escape the hustle and bustle of life. It was a great place to unplug, unwind, and relax. We plan to be back in the future! e will be back!

Wonderful and Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! The location is gorgeous, and there are plenty of amenities to keep young and old busy and happy. Literally steps from the house we enjoyed the mini sand beach, paddle board, kayak, swimming, water basketball, and various flotation tubes. Ping pong is fun in the converted garage. The house itself is well maintained and appointed. The owners' attention to detail shines through. Les and Bonnie (and management team) were great.

Heavenly Views!!

Overall, we had a very good stay at Blue Heaven. Pros: - The location of the property on a main lake point was unbelievable. You simply can't beat the view! - While the house is not new, the interior has been beautifully remodeled. The open concept living/dining/kitchen is great for family. Also, the second living area/kitchenette downstairs is wonderful. - The swimming area is great. While it is just off the main lake, it was very safe and there was no boat traffic in that area. - Mattresses were the most comfortable rental beds we've ever experienced - great sleep for all!! Cons (nothing bad, just things to consider) - While the main lake location is great for views, it was rough on the boat when parked in the boat house. Be prepared to tie off in all 4 directions to posts (no cleats). Also, consider backing into the slip so the bow faces all of the incoming waves. - The plumbing needs attention. Toilets were a constant source of frustration.

Amazing lake experience!

We had the best time at Blue Heaven. It was the perfect home for our family of 7. The beach and swimming area were the biggest hit and you can't beat the view. Everything was smooth and successful. Owners were great and helpful. Highly recommend!

BEST location on the lake!!

The house is great, the beds are comfortable and we had plenty of room. The location and the views are glorious. We spent a lot of time outside and appreciate the use of the paddle boards and floats. Absolutely 5 stars all around.

Family Weekend at the Lake

My husband, sister, brother-in-law and niece enjoyed three fabulous nights at Blue Heaven. The house was just as pictured and beautifully renovated and very clean. Great view of the lake. We appreciated the use of the boat dock - it looked brand new! We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards, having breakfast on the back deck and sitting in the Adirondack chairs watching the water on the dock. There is a boat ramp and a convenience store less than a mile down the road and a grocery store less than 5 miles away. You can truly relax and unwind.
