Fin de la cabaña con muchas paredes de granito a la vista y vigas de madera. Terraza acristalada en la parte delantera. 2 habitaciones dobles y 1 habitación con literas. Baño con inodoro, bañera y ducha. Segundo baño. Planta baja abierta con salón / comedor y cocina. La mesa de comedor tiene capacidad para 6. Hay un piano que puedes tocar. Calefacción central y estufa de leña. Jardín completamente cerrado con césped, patio y terraza. Hay estacionamiento fuera de la carretera para varios autos.

Ashton es un pequeño pueblo entre Helston y Penzance. Está a 1 milla de la costa, pero puedes ver el mar (¡solo!) del dormitorio principal Praa Sands está a solo 3,2 km, al igual que el hermoso pueblo portuario de Porthleven, que cuenta con varios buenos pubs y restaurantes, incluido el de Rick Stein. St Michael's Mount está a 10 minutos. Land's End, St. Ives y la impresionante península de Lizard se encuentran a media hora en coche, y más lejos está el Proyecto Eden. Hay muchas propiedades de National Trust cercanas, y estamos en el corazón del país de Poldark. La cabaña está alejada de la carretera principal y, por lo tanto, es tranquila y no hay ruido de tráfico. El pub Lion and Lamb está a unos 150 metros de distancia. Estamos a 150 yardas de la ruta principal de autobuses entre Penzance y Falmouth.

La cabaña es nuestro hogar, y lo ha sido por casi 20 años. Trabajamos fuera de casa durante 8 meses al año, por lo que preferiríamos que la cabaña fuera utilizada y disfrutada, en lugar de estar vacía.

Perfect location
We found it easy to explore the gorgeous local areas with this lovely house as our base. We had some delicious meals in Porthleven, which is a short drive from the house, and days out further afield. We had everything we needed in this cosy home.

Great holidays in a perfectly (located) house
The friendly welcome with flowers and wine in a well structured and very nice house with a lovely Garden for a beautiful stay with family and two dogs let us enjoy two wonderful weeks in which we got to know a lot of fantastic and different places in Cornwall. If we had a question, we always got immediatly help by Jane.

Amazing stay
Great property, ticked all the boxes. Communication was great, comfy beds and very clean. The dog loved the large garden. The kitchen was well stocked and lots of cupboard space. Used the bus to travel locally. Will be back.

Fantastic Cottage & Location
The Cottage and garden were perfect very traditional and full of character. Beds were very comfy the shower was great and easy to use. The main bathroom was very swish -loved all the glitter touches. The piano had an amazing sound. Leather sofa/chairs in Lounge were so comfortable to sit in. We also sat in the front porch some of the time. There was a huge airer in there which if we had needed it would of been very helpful. Thankfully we had excellent weather. The location is perfect for so many attractions/beaches. The Lizard, Praa Sands, Marazion, Perranporth Beach and harbour, Helston, Perran Sands at low tide to name a few. We felt like we were coming home each time we returned to Thurcroft Cottage. We found an excellent walk from the cottage. Up the lane turn right and right into the Ashton Amenities Field (great for dogs). In the far left corner there is a lane that takes you to the Garden centre and Kitchen Cafe in Breage. Well worth a visit. We would definitely pay a return visit. We also had an amazing meal out at The Coach & Horses. We love Cornwall.

The property was lovely everything you needed in a quiet setting excellent property at the end of the lane for food and drinking easily in reach even though I struggle with mobility If you are of limited mobility the stairs are not bad only a few with gentle incline

We really enjoyed two weeks in the cottage. As it is a home, that meant that it was practically equipped, unlike so many rentals. Jane was very responsive and helpful before and during the stay. We enjoyed walking to the sea from the house and it is really well located for everything that SW Cornwall has to offer. The local pub is great and Porthleven is just a few minutes away (or a coastal walk). The easy parking and lovely outdoor space at the back was also much appreciated. We would definitely come back!

Home away from home!
Amazing cozy cottage. I don't think the photos actually do this cottage justice! So much roomier than it looks on the photos. We didn't want to come home! The village had a power cut one afternoon and the owners were brilliant for getting in touch with and checked in with us after a couple of hours to check it had come back on. Really peaceful village and our 2 dogs loved the garden! Will definitely be back fingers crossed! Thankyou for the wonderful stay!

Perfect for us.
Beautiful cottage with a lovely enclosed garden, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Lovely park and local pub with good food both within a 5 minute walk. Between Jane and the book in the cottage we had all the info we required. Would definitely recommend, thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

The cottage had everything you need my grandchildren loved it the only negative is the immersion heater wasn't working whilst we were there so no hot water to wash pots and have a wash no dishwasher either

Lovely cottage with everything we needed for a week long stay. Highly recommended!
More than enough room for a family of 6. Two toilets! (a real bonus). There is a nice decked area, great for morning coffee and evening sundowners. Pretty central to all the beaches (the nearest being a 5 minute drive) and attractions, such as St. Micheal Mount, Penzance and St. Ives. A big THANK YOU to Jane and Macky for sharing their home with us, we would definitely recommend this to anyone who would want a home away from home whilst on holiday. Cornwall, we will be back!

Excellent cottage in great Location
The cottage has lots of charm and character in a good location, right in the middle of all the local attractions. The garden was great and a good size, parking for 3 cars. Homely haven near the sea
We had a lovely week here. A real home from home. Had everything we needed. We loved the sun lounge in the front! Would love to come back to see more of the lovely beaches as I was poorly for the last 3 days but Praa Sands was heaven! Jane was so understanding and let us book an extra night as I was too unwell to travel.

Comfortable cottage in a great location
We both had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is situated in a great location for exploring West Cornwall, and was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The communication from our hosts Jane and Macky was excellent, and we were made to feel very welcome. We would love to stay again in the future.
