The host was very responsive whenever I texted about questions and doing a check in the day of and a check in the day of checkout. The house was beautiful and well maintained and any minor issues I had were quickly addressed. I would definitely stay at this house in the future.

The cabin was cozy & clean. Kitchen had all the cooking tools that was needed during my stay. It was a perfect spot for my spouse and I while visiting family in the area.

The house is a bit on the campy side and provided the basic necessities. The oven put out alot of foul smelling smoke when attempted to bake salmon (notified Blue Maple). The sports center and pools made the trip.

Cabin in the woods

Cute, quiet place to stay. Easy to find. We booked our stay and needed to make a change. We had an immediate response from Corinne, the host, and everything was taken care of right away and she was polite. Getting closer to the date of check in, we received a message that the booking was now being managed by Someone else / a booking agency. The problem with that was we never received an communication of the physical address to the property or the check in information. We tried messaging, calling, and texting up until we had to leave for our trip. We still didnt hear back but started driving to the town we knew it was in. Finally got the property address from the chat agent through vrbo since we never heard from those managing the property. When we were an hour away, we reached someone with the booking co and we were told to fill out a form. Once we did that, we would have the check in code emailed. We did it twice. No code came through. We reached the house, no code to get in. So we took pictures we were there with no way to enter. Left to go get dinner after we were 20 mins away, we received a call from an unrelated number not listed anywhere with the booking from washington dc giving us the code to the house. As you might know, we were very frustrated at this point with the lack of communication style for check in. They offered us an 80 refund for the frustrations. Ive keep asking, told they will follow up and dont until i ask again, still no refund. Poor communication

Great little getaway

Great little cabin in the woods. Communication with there owner was wonderful and much appreciated, as we were expecting some weather issues. Cottage was as pictured. Very open & perfect size for us & our pup. Doggie bowls provided! Beds were very comfy. There is a wood fireplace & firepit. Wood is provided. Definitely will consider again.

What An Amazing Getaway

The place is as pretty as the pics, and the owner is super responsive to renters. The fire pit outside is perfect, and there's firewood on the property to use. The kitchen has everything you'd need to put together a really nice getaway meal, and the beds are more than comfortable. Highly recommended!

Mountain Escape

This was a tranquil little cabin in the woods up in the mountains of West Virginia. We were here in the height of fall color, and it was gorgeous! It's a quiet, cute neighborhood. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We loved our stay here and we will be back!

A absolutely great place for a getaway!

What a great little spot for a weekend getaway! Plenty of on-site amenities for those that want to enjoy a bit of woodsy seclusion with all the usual creature comforts. The kitchen has all of the tools and spices needed to cook a full menu of delicious food, including a great grill. Beds are comfortable and the HVAC system works very well. The only negative we can say about this property is that there is no covering for the firewood, but a bit of anticipatory planning for any rainy weather solves this minor issue. All in all, a wonderful property with a very communicative host! Highly recommend!

Nice getaway

My wife and I were in search of a weekend getaway and we found it at this quiet, cozy, comfortable cabin. We hiked with our dog, read books and fell asleep by the fire. Our dog loved it. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the host was ideal. Highly recommended.

Wonderful trip with friends

We loved our stay, the other reviews are spot on about the accommodations and the modern design. The only critical point I have is that the cabins are very close to each other, so it is not as private as we were anticipating. Otherwise everything was excellent. Our host was really kind and responsive, they were super easy to message and gave a lot of information upfront which made check in and check out easy. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Cute little house!

It was a nice stay and the house was clean and well stocked. The only con are there are several houses nearby and we spent the weekend listening to a yappy dog at a neighboring house, not necessarily the owners fault but something to consider if you’re going for some peace and solitude.

Weekend Getaway

Property as described. Nice to bring our dog and have a nice big yard for him. Great outdoors with a gazebo, fire pit and fire place inside. A stocked kitchen. A generous goodie bag with snacks and water to welcome us. Owners had great communication and very responsive to questions.

Great Little Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet, low-key weekend away! Communication with the owner was great, the house was as expected, and it was very clean inside. There are well-stocked kitchen cabinets; we had all the right tools for whipping together some cinnamon bread for breakfast. And our dog had his best vacation yet; I don’t know what it was, but something about this place just made him giddy! He was silly happy all weekend!

We loved the cabin. The kitchen is literally stocked with everything you need! The amenities were wonderful. The area is beautiful and we loved adventuring out. Cacapon State Park was lovely!

Cabin in the Woods

This is a sweet little place for a short get-out-of-town stay ! The pictures make this "cabin" look contemporary... with the white lights ... but it actually is rather dim and cozy inside and quite fun and romantic as you look outside at the sunshine filtering through the tall straight trees all around the cabin ! We made our own meals for 3 days ... the kitchen was excellent !! Bring bug repellent ... AND your own kindling and fire starter !! Memorable !

Relaxing Cabin in the Woods!

The cabin is so relaxing to sit inside or out. Trees all around you. We had a great time there. Its also so close to interesting sites like Harper's Ferry and Antietam Battlefield.

Great get away

We wanted to find a cozy spot to space for a few days with our dog and found this lovely place. The home was clean, with even a small bag of coffee and snacks included that made us feel welcome. Communication with the owner was also good. Some items to note: Water is well water so you may want to bring your own if your pet has a sensitive GI like ours does. Lots of hiking nearby locally or you can hit the bigger sites within a reasonable distance like C&O Canal. You can, for a small daily fee, make use of the clubhouse which has a nice gym and pool. Location was easy to find and on main roads. No off-roading for 30 minutes on a dirt road to get to this one.

The home was clean and exactly as advertised. Well appointed with kithchen appliances and utilities. Bath towels and firepit blankets were a nice touch. Toilet seat needs some work. All around a very pleasant stay.
