“Near the beach, short walk was no problem. Definitely a beach shack, perfect for us! Well laid out, very easy to get comfortable, Altho the floor is concrete so took a while to warm up the place. Also the sheets were crusty :/ and we had to change them, but they had extras east to find. They seemed laundered, but not clean. We would stay again, but we like quirky little shacks :) The most uncomfortable part was communication with Vacasa. A little expensive for what you get, with all the fees.”

“It was warm when we walked in, that’s always a plus! Although it was pretty wet because my glasses steamed up. You should definitely have a dehumidifier running full-time in the living room as well as the bedroom this time of year. We got hail and intermittent heavy rains all weekend! Both propane heaters got it really hot and quick making it very comfortable after a long day elk hunting in the freezing rain. “We stayed 4 nights at Whales Watch. We found the property clean, and VERY well equiped to cook or bake. We felt like we were in our own house. The location, just steps from Haceta Beach can't be beat, we could take a walk on the beach several times a day and totally exhaust our dogs. It is also located an easy drive a many coastal hikes and tourist sites to help fill the days when you want to be more active than beach combing. BUT the best is just relaxing at the property enjoying ocean...

“Wonderful hotel on the beach, every room has a view and access to the sands footsteps away. There is a great pool jacuzzi and kids water play area (indoors), a cafe/restaurant and tavern onsite (limited hours). Rooms are a bit old but they were comfortable and the near full size kitchens with breakfast bars makes it easy to prepare snacks and food. Full sized empty refrigerators. Location is off the highway so the only sounds you have are thundering surf. ”
