“Very cute cabin with a gorgeous lake view! We stayed during mid Sept and i thought it would be cooler. The cabin had no AC so that was the only thing that I didnt like. If you plan on going in late fall i think it would be perfect but summer might be warm. They had plenty of fans to help keep the place cooler. Overrall, we loved our stay here!”

“We had a delightful stay at Little Muskie Retreat. The cabin had everything we needed and wanted. It was extremely well cared for and the love the owners had for it was very visible. It was chilly when we arrived and we were glad for the heat in the mornings. But later in the week, we were glad for the AC also. We fished off the dock and had an excellent time - at least I did because I was happy to catch dozens of bluegills on wax worms but my husband wasn't so lucky using flies. I kept telling...

“We had a great time at the cabin. We really enjoyed the big deck, which had a gate for our dogs, the bonfire pit, and the dock was very, very nice! Loved sitting out on the dock at night and looking up at the stars. Tons of bedrooms and space for our family and friends. The host was amazing at communicating. We had one small issue and she remedied it immediately and checked back in on us, which we appreciated very much. Overall it was a great stay. ”

“The cottage was Great, a very nice place. We enjoyed indoor and outdoor fires. Had fun in the kayaks and my dog even learned how to ride in the canoe! Only disappointment was no swimming. Water was not good quality. Did catch some small fish, even a couple enuf to have a snack on. Very private setting. Kari was always easy to get answer from too. ”

“The property was nice and had enough room and storage for our family. There were a few things that were broken and not clean when we arrived and we had to notify the property manager. He responded and apologized in a timely manner. Overall a nice stay.”
