“Literally the most spectacular view from the room.... Can't beat it... ”

“The location was so close to the city but it was so peaceful as though we were in the country.We were able to have a relaxing time sitting on the veranda ”

“When we arrived we met the host Sia. She was so nice and easy to get along with. She upgraded our stay to a 2 bedroom apartment due to plumbing issues in our booked studio room. The apartment was undergoing renovations but this wasn't a problem at all. Everything we needed was there. The apartment was clean and spacious and the price was fantastic. . We were within walking distance to all shops (5 min) as well as public transport. Sia was fantastic and I would highly recommend this property.”

“If you're looking to get away from the business of the world, this is great option. The room itself is cosy with enough amenities that you don't really need to leave if you dont want to. It is private, though not completely soundproof as we could hear the tenants in the main building from time to time. Blackheath is also far enough from the world but also close to major attractions like the Three Sisters in Katoomba, which is about 15 minutes drive away. Very reasonable price for what you get, I...

“Beautiful grounds, quiet and peaceful, quality accommodation, perfect for a getaway in a semi rural location. Limited phone/internet reception can be a bonus for some. Shops are a short drive away. Overall, our stay was a very restful, pleasant experience.”

“Everything ok if a budget stay suits, which it did for me. Room & bathroom were fine. Sadly my bedroom smelt of someone else’s b.o. Breakfast: marmalade in abundance! Other supplies were a little lacking tbh & the host sniffing the long life skim milk on my arrival probably wasn’t the best look. I found another little full cream but had long expired. Overall you probably get what you pay for, not great but not the worst either. ”

“Very quiet at the end of the road. The cockatoos were loud in the morning and just before they went to bed at night. A simple one kilometer walk to the fish and chip shop in Saint Mary's, that was good food too, especially the scalloped potatoes that are sliced thinly battered and then deep fried like a piece of fish. I love them.”

“Lovely accommodation in a peaceful and private setting. It is a short drive to Kurrajong village to cafes and boutiques. The premises was well stocked with breakfast items including hot and cold choices. Hosts were easily contactable and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay.”

“Although not in the heart of Katoomba or Leura, the B&B was still close to where we wanted to go. Our Hostess was very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast (cold & hot) was ample and delicious.”

“Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars.......”

“Rustic Spirit is a magical place to unplug and slip into the tranquility of this property. The privacy of the chalet, the spa and the outlook make this place something special. The daily breakfast that is included was amazing especially the Rosti! The hosts are lovely and we’re a great source of local information and the on-site massage was amazing This place is a must if you looking for a bush-mountain experience without all the hustle and bustle of Katoomba. ”

“Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. ”
