“The price for a beachfront property is unreal! We had our own little slice of heaven on the beach AND had kayaks to play on. There are tons of sleeping options provided for the price. “The property was beautiful! The dogs had a great time and me and my husband relaxed and watched DVDs. Bond fires were nice and the town was so cute! Not a whole lot to do around there but we just stayed inside and watched movies. We liked it was in the woods but town just did not have alot of activities for us to do since my husband is on weight bearing restriction but that didnt ruin anything! I loved that we were able to bring my dogs it made me less stressed having to hire a sitter!”

“My wife and I booked the house for an anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. It is in a very quite and peaceful area and is a great house for relaxing in. Getting to enjoy the wildlife in the backyard while just standing in the kitchen as well as the wildlife seen on the short walk to the lake was a plus. Getting to see the fall colors starting to show as great as well. The screened in porch is a great place for some outside relaxing that still has light if you want to be out there...

“My dad's family is from the area. He wanted to visit with my siblings and I to show us all the family landmarks and places from some of his adventures "back in the day". This house was the perfect location (close to everything we needed to see and just down the street from some relatives). The house was stocked with everything we potentially needed, and the views were so pretty. Would stay again if back in the area.”

Night stand in master bedroom unstable. Liggts are dim, could use more/brighter lighting. Directions to home via Google Maps are about 1/2 mile off. Overall a beautiful home. Host very responsive to messages. ”

“If you want to unplug and have a secluded location, this is definitely the cabin you need. I had requested central air but found out too late that there is only a window AC unit in the dining area. But the nights were fairly cool and with the fan I brought I was very comfortable. Mattresses, furniture and carpet were all old but we didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin so we only used it a little. But being a pet friendly cabin, I didn’t expect it to be newly renovated.”

“Overall, the stay was great. The views were stunning and the property was beautiful. Our group enjoyed fishing, swimming, fires and kayaking, plus relaxing on the wrap around deck. The house is great for big groups, although the beds are not as accommodating as per the listing. Note for future guests- bring extra paper towels, garbage bags and a dish sponge or cloth for dishes as there was not enough provided. Also it’s a bit of a drive into town & shops were closed before 4pm on a Saturday....
