Surprised because wasn’t sure what was stocked at house, description was vague. Pictures good for furniture but in the kitchen wasn’t sure & it was well stocked. Only thing I am glad I brought was a large crock pot, they had a small one.
We brought our boat and if your boat has T top, be careful due to the abundance of low lying trees. They were lovely on the property, but could rip or scrape a top.
The property had a nice sink to clean fish, would be nice if the hoses worked around the property. I think only one outside hose worked. In addition, we had several things that happened that the property managers had to be called. The code didn’t work to get into house but only had to wait about 30 minutes for them to get that worked out. Also, washing machine had leak and water was turned off to the machine. Luckily, Caleb came to the rescue and discovers the only leak was the hot water and could use the cold only and it would work. But, the property managers were quick to answer calls. Lots of little fixes would be nice to add to the property. You pay enough for the stay, it really should be expected not to have the nuances, but it happens. The screening on the porch should be a definite fix, it’s a focal point of the house. Bugs can and are able to join in on the porch with you due to rips in the screening.
Another odd thing happened. Someone showed up with binoculars and said they were returning them. Seems they had a sick parent, maybe with dementia and she took them, and they were retuning them. We left them on a table as we weren’t sure where they went.
Overall, we would love to stay at that property, but for amount charged per night, definitely not worth. If you get a half price deal, I would go back.
