“En preston nadie habla español, solo lis españoles y algun bar. Para cruzar la calle es un lio. Los precios son casi el doble en bares r rtes. Suciedad en aceras. Tienen varios centros comerciales juntos al igual que tiendas. El parque es espectacular, se puede comer sopas en el suelo. La estancia ha estado bien pero no vendria de turismo. ”

“Very welcoming staff and central location. Old fashioned decor but clean and comfortable. Good value for an overnight say, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to try out the swimming pool. Limited breakfast (e.g. no croissants or similar continental items) but the bacon/egg etc was nice enough. I would stay again.”

“My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking...

“The hotel is under going some renovations - which it sadly needs.We were shown to a room in an annex to the rear of the main hotel.The toilet was stained brown and there was a used bar of soap in the shower.The extractor fan didn't work and we had to wedge the bathroom door open to get rid of the steam.There was an old water leak stain on the ceiling which had started to develop mould.We were disturbed from around 6am every day except Saturday, by the sound of the water system each time anyone...

“This is a very secluted quiet hotel 15 mins from Lytham and 10 mins from M55. Very attentive friendly smart staff, would definitely stay again, pub and shop 10 mins walk in the beautiful traditional village of Wrea Green. Bet this hotel is lovely at Christmas time.”

“Nice hotel. Great staff and good breakfast. My only criticism were the lifts and difficulty navigating the maze of rooms and corridors. I think you need more sign posting. Came down one set of stairs as lift hadn’t been closed properly upstairs and couldn’t find my way out. So just more signs. Otherwise a nice place and very friendly. ”

“Very clean and tidy hotel with the room being just what you could want at the price. Clean bedding and towels, tidy room, ensuite and tea/coffee facilities. Its conveniently located 50 yards from the nearest tram stop which is a 15 minute ride to the Tower, or a 45 minute stroll along the promenade. All I would say is that the bed could do with an extra couple of pillows ”
