“We stayed at Bryan’s 2 nights. The location is very strategic to visit Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonaruwa and do a safari. We stayed in the tree house and we really liked it. Since the region is very windy, even without AC was good. The room was very clean. Bryan was the best host. Not only he helped us to organise everything, but we also had great chats with him. Food is great. We had breakfasts and dinners and we really enjoyed them. Bryan&team made us feel at home. We will definetly come back!!!”

“Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits von Habarana, aber mit dem TukTuk gut erreichbar. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und die Zimmer liegen etwas abseits, was uns nicht ein so sicheres Gefühl gab. Das Servicepersonal war äusserst freundlich und das Essen lecker. Einzig der Chef war nicht freundlich und wollte uns andauernd überteuerte Touren und Safari andrehen, das war etwas mühsam. “Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens...

“This is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms are excellent, the food wonderful, the staff incredibly accommodating and the natural habitat in which the Other Corner is situated forms perfect backdrop gor wildlife including a birds. The resident wildlife and naturalist Dhilip is a fount of knowledge and made the stay even better. The organic garden and lake are also a bonus. The Other Corner makes an excelllent base for touring the national parks, ancient cities and Sigiriya.”

The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations.
