The vastness of the out doors with a fire pit and things for the kids to play on, climb and explore was absolutely terrific. The size of the main room and patio room were also great for when the kids were inside.”

“We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun...

“The house was just breath taking when you walk in. The views of the lake were amazing. Even though it rained we were perfectly satisfied! We had a fire in the outside fire place on the covered front porch. It was very peaceful. The host Gary made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed and or wanted! The house was fully stocked with everything! We will definitely be going back next year!”
