Overall, the condo was very lovely, other than a few minor things (I.e. pillows flat as a pancake that are not good for sleeping, lots of stains on master carpet, outdoor hot tub missing headrests, master jacuzzi broken). Condo is decorated nicely & can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into setting things up. Check-in, even after-hours was a breeze. Reserved parking is super handy, right next to elevator. Kitchen is well stocked but would be nice to have some Tupperware to store leftovers. A throw blanket would also be handy for lounging.
However, we had several issues with the rental company. Most of these would have been minor & could have been overlooked - sent a few messages about things not working & only 1 out of 3 were addressed, asked what type of coffeemaker provided and they said normal but they actually also have a keurig, so we could have brought our normal k cups rather than having to buy supplies for a normal pot, but again, minor inconvenience.
MAJOR CONCERN WHY WE CANNOT RECOMMEND & WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGER AGAIN: upon texting for checkout, no response was received - ok, not a huge deal, but all other managers we have rented at same property previously always send a warm, friendly response thanking us & wishing us safe travels. Instead, I come back to an e-mail from property manager the next day & a $500 additional charge on our card, stating that we ruined the brand new dining table. I thought did a cup sweat or something & we missed it? Checked the pictures they sent over and nope - the pictures were at the total opposite end my husband and I ate at, so it was impossible the damage was from us. I responded to the e-mail stating so and expected someone to contact me back quickly but was getting anxious after not hearing anything by the following afternoon, so I called & explained. The individual I spoke with was not at all understanding, kept blaming us & told me the manager inspected after we left & found that damage from us and they would have to pass along my information to the area manager. I happened to go back to the listing and check the pictures and you could see the “damage” in the pictures from the posting!! I responded to my original email circling exactly the damage they claimed we were responsible for and told them if they did not refund, I would claim fraud on my card. They responded back they had refunded & “sorry for the inconvenience.” TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
