En Fort Morgan Road, en Gulf Shores, Alabama, alrededor de la milla 10, se encuentra uno de los secretos ocultos de la Costa del Golfo de Alabama: una playa con poca gente donde no solo puede pescar de manera productiva desde la costa, tambi��n puede llevar a su perro.

A pocos pasos de esta playa se encuentra el "Seagrass Cottage". La cabaña está ubicada al final de una calle sin salida donde escaleras aparentemente escondidas te llevan m��gicamente a la casa.

Esta casa de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños ofrece vistas al Golfo de México, los sonidos del oleaje y solo unos pasos para sumergir los dedos en el agua. Ubicada en el barrio privado de Cabana Beach en Fort Morgan, "Seagrass Cottage" ofrece impresionantes vistas, 2 terrazas privadas y todas las comodidades del hogar. Se incluye un pase de estacionamiento para el lote de playa privada y, como huésped de Cabana Beach, también puede pescar en el muelle pesquero del vecindario a través de la Hwy 180 en Mobile Bay.

Pero ¿por qué conducir a cualquier parte? Puedes bajar debajo de la casa y estar en el Golfo en 2 minutos.

La casa está equipada con 2 cubiertas: la cubierta principal se envuelve alrededor de la cocina al dormitorio principal e incluye tumbonas y una mesa de comedor exterior completa. Otra cubierta está unida al dormitorio del segundo piso (la habitación favorita de todos los niños).

Hay 3 juegos de puertas francesas en la casa para dejar entrar el aire del mar: en la sala de estar, el dormitorio principal y el enorme dormitorio tipo loft. Las vistas y brisas del Golfo deben ser experimentadas para ser creídas! También hay una ducha al aire libre para que pueda lavar el agua salada o simplemente disfrutar de la ducha en los elementos (es privado).

Esta es nuestra área favorita de Alabama y muchas de sus partes son salvajes e indómitas. Algunos de los animales salvajes que se pueden ver aquí son delfines, pelícanos y aves marinas, muchas especies de tortugas, multitudes de peces, cangrejos, nutrias y sí, incluso caimanes (¡pero no en la playa!).

Una excursión educativa a menos de diez millas al oeste se encuentra el verdadero sitio histórico de Fort Morgan, que incluye los cuarteles, cañones y un pequeño museo. Este es un gran viaje corto para aficionados a la historia y una excelente manera de presentar a sus hijos a la historia física.

La casa cuenta con televisores de pantalla plana en todas partes (todos con HDMI para que pueda llevar su Roku, Apple TV, Xbox, lo que sea), cable básico, reproductores de DVD y wifi gratuito.

"Seagrass Cottage" está a poca distancia a pie del resort The Beach Club, donde hay tiendas, restaurantes e incluso un spa. El refugio nacional de vida silvestre Bon Secour también se encuentra a poca distancia. Y, por supuesto, Gulf Shores, a 12 millas al este, ofrece muchos restaurantes, Rouses (la mejor tienda de comestibles) y un montón de cosas para turistas, si te gusta eso.

Thanksgiving getaway
We decided to go away for Thanksgiving this year and found this cute cottage. It was perfect!! We had plenty of space to be together, yet still have our own space when needed. We were the perfect distance to the beautiful beaches. It was quiet and relaxing and just what my family needed this year to have a relaxing and restful break from reality. Thank you to the boys for sharing their cottage!

Beautiful and Relaxing
This house is in a beautiful location. A short walk to the beach. And the beach, was perfect. Some days my family were the only people on the beach. Our kids could explore and have some freedom without us having to worry. Overall a great experience and a great place for kids and families.

Cozy and private cottage
When we pulled up, it looked like approaching a tree house. The house decor is so appealing, a nice beach vibe. The kitchen was stocked with anything anyone might need. There is a nice view of the water from the decks, and a short walk to the beach. It was a very pleasant week.

Ran down to the coast with our small dog. Very clean, well equipped rental. A little walk to beach but manageable. A very convenient parking area when carrying accoutrements. Good AC! Quiet and comfortable.

End of summer vacation
The house and location was ideal for our end of summer vacation. We wanted to take the kids to the beach before school started back and this place was perfect. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and it was just a short walk to the beach. The house was stocked with everything we needed to get started. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The patio/deck was a perfect peaceful space to just wind down after a day at the beach. The beach was not crowded which we loved. The owners of this property have a beautiful home and the property managers were easy and wonderful to work with. We will definitely try to book our next beach vacation at this location.

Beach getaway
I stayed at seagrass cottage with my husband and 3 kids. We very much enjoyed being away from the large crowds. This house does not sit directly on the beach but is one street over. There is a pathway that leads to the beach from the back of the cottage. It is actually pretty arduous with kids and gear in tow, although the distance is pretty short. It's mostly loose sand so it's hard to walk and pull a wagon, etc. The cottage itself was so quaint. I loved the architecture and decor. It has every kitchen appliance you could imagine. Even a nutribullet, which I used every day. It also had a crawfish pot, if you're feeling adventurous. It has only 2 bathrooms, which was not a surprise. It got a little tight with all of us trying to wash up after the beach. But hot water supply was good, and water was not too soft. Overall great place and would definitely return

Beachside Home
After a horrible stay in Colorado through a different website, booking this home was certainly a nerve-wracking experience. We booked this home as five adults and one dog for the last week of May in 2022. Everyone was pleasantly surprised with the home as it had two porches (one deck and a balcony) as well as plenty of space to move around without getting crowded. We only saw one neighbor throughout our stay as the house is located in a secluded area (second to last house on a dead end road). The walk to the beach was certainly doable though I can see that one might have some problems if the grass gets too grown up around the walking path. The beach area itself remained mostly empty except for the occasional small group coming by every few hours. The water pressure and air system worked great (took us awhile to find the thermostat which was hidden behind the master bedroom door). There was a significant amount of dishware and silverware as well as other cooking equipment already provided. I would strongly recommend bringing extra paper towels, toilet paper, and regular towels as they do not provide any extras. Don't forget to check the cabinets as we found some pretty cool movies tucked away on the last night.

The place was very clean,plenty of room for my family of 5 and our dog with crate, amenities were plenty especially in the kitchen,only problem was it’s a bit overgrown outside and needs landscaping for a place kinda secluded like this one already with wildlife everywhere you wanna be able to see your surroundings more especially while in a place your not familiar with,ran into two snakes while walking my dog in the front and back of property,and this was in November,other than that the place worked fine and everyone enjoyed the stay.

This was our second stay in this house. We had such a good stay 4 years ago we stayed again and I wish we would have picked something else. If you are a clean person this place is probably not for you. It was picked up but not clean by any means and there was bugs in the kitchen cabinets the kind of bugs you don’t want to take home with you. I’m positive we left it in much better shape then when we got there. The house needs some upkeep and a major cleaning:)

LOVED IT!!!!!
It's obvious that this property is well loved and the owners use it as well. Stayed with my son, daughter in law, and my 4 grandkids. Ages 2 1/2, 8, 9 and 11. The grandkids are hard to impress, so kudos to you for doing it! Gorgeous pictures and wall decor. Sofas and chairs were very comfortable and tasteful. Kitchen was well equipped. Salt water has worn the finish on the fridge, washer and dryer, but it can't be helped and it didn't affect my love of the property. Bedrooms were huge. Very pretty. The bed was hugefantastic. I felt like I was sleeping on clouds. A mix of pillows so you're able to find one that works. I can't say enough good about the sheets and quilts. Soft, clean sheets. The quilt was butter soft and the absolutely perfect weight. My daughter in law said the same thing. The
