The rooms were clean, and well maintained with everything you might need. Despite the freezing temps outside the room was warm and cozy and not too noisy either. “We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...

“The good: The location is excellent. The host was wonderfully kind and accommodating. The farm setting is beautiful with sheep, horses, birds and dogs. There is lots of storage in the property. The bed was very comfortable. The price is also quite fair. The bad: No central air and there is heat that must be lit with a fire starter. We needed both heating and cooling during our stay. The fridge is small and there is no freezer. The cooker must also be lit with a fire starter (we didn’t try it)....
