“Super sweet views of the water, islands, & sky. Very nice private beach, and peaceful setting. The kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable, couch and chairs were comfortable. The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. The light above the stove, under the microwave was burned out, so cooking was dimly lit. I’m sure they will replace the bulb tho. The coffee...

“This is where you want to stay on orcas Island. Centrally located and secluded. Easy to get to and the accommodations in the cottage are spectacular. Everything you need in the kitchen to make a nice meal. The garden provided us with an onion and celery. A really nice treat.”

“Are stay was wonderful, the peace you feel as soon as you arrive. We stayed 2 weeks. The wild life was wonderful to watch. The only negative is that the furniture in the living room needs to be up dated. Very old and uncomfortable.”

“Wonderful property and we have returned many times. Beautifully appointed with charming English garden. Only negative was we were given wrong key lockbox code and took 30mins of holding on telephone before we got a live person at 11pm who was able to get property manager. Rest of stay was excellent.”

“Excellent property for a stay on Orcas Island. Waterfront view from deck, living space and upstairs bedrooms is outstanding. Convenient location near the supplies and amenities of Eastsound. Cabin was very clean, maintained and well supplied with linens, kitchen tools, and indoor entertainment options. As advertised, the driveway is steep but paved. Multiple cars will be somewhat of an issue as there is limited space to turnaround. Highly recommend, especially for multiple couples.”

“We were able to rest and relax at home or see the sights and had so many opportunities for things to do within an easy drive. Being on the waters edge is so calming. We enjoyed the sunsets, beachcombing, and had 3 otters that we were able to watch regularly. The fire pit was nice as well. Peter and Julie are the best of hosts in that they checked in by text several days after we were in the house and then left it to us to contact them as needed. “This home was lovely. We will be back. We had Della contact us prior to check in and communicate when needed throughout the trip. There was a plumbing and gate issue that was both communicated early, expectations set and addressed immediately. She kindly provided compensation for the issues. The house is just as advertised and we had a lovely time during our stay. ”

A few things could use a little TLC, and the listing updated to reflect. Also a note that the septic system has a bit of an offputting sulfur smell, but totally appreciated the hot/cold water filter provided. ”
