Our Stay at Harmony House
We had a wonderful time at Harmony House. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The view was amazing. We saw a family of deer several days. It’s close to town and very close to a killer Mexican restaurant, the Black door.

Magical House!
This house is an incredibly beautiful, clean, and fun little slice of heaven. I would 100% recommend this place—with its stunning view, hot tub, pool, and game room. Everything about it is amazing! You should book this house!

Great place
Overall the house was great! A few things to note that were disappointing considering the amount we paid. 1. Lacking supplies- 1/2 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom total! We had to buy more. One wine glass in the entire house. 3 bowls in the house. No firewood provide d for the stove (which they note in their book but not the online listing). No lighter to light the fire- we wrote this on the private review so hopefully they can remedy these things 2. The pool was freezing. They note on the listing that it’s solar heated, but I guess we didn’t realize that it wouldn’t be warm at all 3. We booked through vrbo but the property is managed by Vacasa. It was very annoying as they were slow to respond to requests for early or late checkouts

Harmony House

The view is worth it!
Location and View make this the perfect spot to vacay. It was very clean. Furniture has some wear and tear but comfortable. The master bedroom and bath are very nice. Downstairs perfect for teenagers to hang out. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and cooking spices. Kitchen is well stocked with any cooking item you need. Pool was broken but the hot tube was perfect. There is a outside fire pit we used and it was lovely.

Listing was inaccurate
the garbage bins were all full, trash in backyard. People living in trailer 8 feet from Hot Tub. Pool was featured but was not operational… this was not relayed to us. When we looked back at the listing, it very clearly stated pool wasn’t working. The statement was added after we had booked and paid. Although I have only booked twice with vrbo, my wife books often for her work trips. This was a huge let down.

Upon arrival there was a puddle of yellow fowl smelling liquid on the floor between the bunk beds, garbage on the deck, animal hair throughout. VERY run down home with old breaking furniture. Aside from the view, and a well-equipped kitchen, this house was a huge dirty disappointment.

Beautiful Views of Coastline
This house was very nice and perfect for 3 adult couples. It had everything we needed to have a nice get a way. Lots of stairs, so be prepared for that. We will definitely rent this house again in the future, the location is perfect.

Gualala is a charming town on the coast. This property is clean and comfy. Well stocked kitchen made family meals easy. Wonderful deck for star gazing. Hot tub was fantastic. Kids loved the small indoor pool.

Wonderful property
Super convenient location. 5 minute walk to Gualala which has two excellent grocery stores stock and reasonably priced for Nor CA. Parks close lots of hiking and some biking. Fabulous views of the Pacific. Hot tub clean didn't use the pool. Let you be the judge of that.

Gualala house rental We wanted to write to you about our stay in Gualala and give you some feedback about the house. First of all we did enjoy the hot tub and pool, however the hot tub had a slight odor and was a bit cloudy. We understand how difficult it is to keep them pristine in a real situation. Second, the view was very nice and the upper deck was very spacious. That said we were quite disappointed in the actual quality of the house and the outrageous price hike that was added on for the Holiday weekend. The kitchen is very outdated, the cupboard do not function very well. The upper cupboards have trays that do not slide out and the corner cupboard and the one to the left cannot be closed at the same time. The dishwasher is very difficult to use when trying to load the bottom shelf. It seems like the bottom rack belongs to another washer? The microwave is outdated and the stove is old. Also, there are no towel racks or hooks in the kitchen. And we’ve never, in all our years of renting vacation homes, have we encountered a kitchen with NO salt and pepper, no scrubber to clean pots and pans and no pull-out receptacle for trash. There were ants on the middle counter that continued to be a problem throughout our stay. The master bath appears very nice on the web sight, but the closet is old and off track and there is only 1 towel rack in the entire bathroom. The toilets are very low and outdated. When we looked at the property on line we were very excited about the house and with the price that was being asked we felt we would get a really nice house. We had so been looking forward to this and had decided to splurge and rent a more expensive house. Now I see it actually rents for $500 dollars a night cheaper that we paid. Is it routine to raise the price $500 a night for all Holidays? The door between the pool and the hot tub is very hard to open and the handle has very sharp ends of screws coming out of it. There were Heineken bottle caps on the cement outside by the hot tub, and used make-up wipes out in the front yard area. The furniture on the upper deck is dangerous. It is extremely heavy and 2 of the armrests fell apart when my husband was just pulling the chair closer to the table. Why are there only 3 reviews for this house?

Lovely beach house with view
Lovely spacious beach house with a view in a nice friendly neighbourhood. The house was beautifully clean and tidy. Near to local small shops and cafes/restaurants. Very relaxing stay. The pool wasn’t working which took the edge of the experience.
