The downsides were the bathroom sink did not drain properly and black mold floated out of the drain, and the bathroom towels were extremely musty smelling. “This is a lovely property. The space was large, clean, comfortable, well decorated and equipped, and with lots of windows. The owners have a done a great job in making it inviting and clearly take pride in ensuring you have a great stay. It is a short 10 min drive from the property to Littleton where there were lots of shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this as a place to stay and would rent it again if we came back to the area.”

“We completely enjoyed our week at the Pond House! The dogs loved swimming in the pond off the private island. We loved the privacy, spacious backyard with Adirondack chairs, kitchen, and overall vibe of the property. “We had a wonderful stay at Barbara’s and Carl’s home. Their house was cozy, clean, and had all of the necessary amenities including spices! Our kids and us enjoyed the lake as well. We had a problem with a squeaky bed which we communicated with the owner and got a response from the property manager within an hour and fixed the problem that afternoon.
