Mixed bag
The Hvac does not adequately cool the front bedroom. The house smells like smoke from the fireplace. The outdoor furniture was stained and dirty. The screen porch was dirty and the screens were not attached so lots of bugs. The location and neighborhood were nice and well located. When we arrived the wall unit was leaking. It was not fixed for 3 days. The shower curtain rod fell and hit a guest on the head. It was not fixed though reported. The HVAc is very noisy, creates a strange noise and suction. The bar stools are falling apart and created a fall hazard. Front door knob is falling off as to lock the door it must be pulled hard. The electrical wiring is quirky . One of the kamps was broken. Overall it needs attention.

Comfortable and Convenient
Location to Paris Mountain and downtown Greenville was perfect. The beds very comfortable, nice shower pressure. Love the retro fridge, nice and clean and cozy.

The worst negative was no live TV. It gave us only streaming, so we were unable to watch any live college football games on Saturday, and we were very, very unhappy about that. (We could not view any live anything.) The couch was really uncomfortable. Several of the pans which were available for cooking had Teflon peeling off of the cooking surfaces. No one should have to eat Teflon along with their food, so we couldn't use them. There was no stand on which to place a suitcase, and no place to put folded clothes away. The refrigerator froze our eggs, and we could not find that it had any temperature control knob. There are numerous trip hazards in the unit (different floor elevations and raised areas in the doorways.) Otherwise, it was a adequate unit. Location was perfect. The wooded lot was nice.

Weekend Getaway
This house was perfect for my family of three! House was super clean and comfortable. Just minutes from restaurants in Travlers Rest, close to Furman, and the trip to Greenville is only about 15-20 minutes. Be sure to grab coffee at Bridge City and grab lunch at Swamp Rabbit Cafe.

Lovely Weekend Getaway
We rented for the weekend. Just a mother daughter getaway. The home was beautiful and peaceful. In the mountains and close to the city. Food was easily deliverable or close by. We highly recommend and will definitely rent this cottage again!

Peaceful and accommodating
We had an ideal Spring Break relaxing in Greenville. The cottage was just what we needed! It is peaceful and very well appointed. We wanted for nothing. The location was perfect for us to travel to everything we wanted to see, in fact most things were even closer than we thought. Very private, felt very safe.

Three Week Stay in Cozy Cottage
We booked for 3 weeks to really explore the area and work remotely. The good stuff: We loved the location. We easily and quickly drove to Traveler's Rest, Greenville and many area suburbs. Publix, Walmart and CVS are also within minutes and that was very convenient. We enjoyed the proximity to Furman University for walks and access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The cottage was roomy enough for us and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The bathrooms were updated nicely. Areas for improvement: Many of the sauce pans for cooking should be discarded and replaced. They are in bad shape. The carpet in the "master bedroom" has stains and should be cleaned or replaced. Various pieces of construction (wood pallet, downspout and debris) are scattered around outside the property on the side and in the backyard. Unfortunately that gives it a junky look and not well-kept. These are all small tweaks that can easily be updated and fixed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Pictures are somewhat deceiving. House is in a neighborhood with a shared driveway (2 in/out's). Had to contact house cleaner as heat did not work. Owner had it fixed immediately. No extra blankets or linens. Overall, a good experience. Would stay again.

Great location with easy access to all the good spots. House had everything we needed and yet the setup was minimal and not cluttered. Enjoyed the fire pit, would stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed the place overall
Not as private as could be, houses dotted the street on both sides of the road, whereas our booking impression was that it would be more "cottage-private." Didn't like the minimal-to-no window coverings/privacy. Nice handy fire-pit outside. Grill was missing any grill brushes/tools. Plenty of room for four adults. Bar chairs are too bumpy for most to sit in (wicker swelling on seats). Plenty of cookery. Nicely laid out for a rectangular small home. Central AC apparently busted prior to our arrival, and wasn't completely working upon arrival. Cooler nights helped, and door-propping, and the larger bedroom's wall AC worked good (not the living room one though). We'd stay again, but would prefer a different onsite Contact....she was less than communicative and customer oriented, borderline grumpy you could say. Owner we spoke w/ in emails, who is out of State, was very friendly and communicative and pleasant.

Great Place To Stay
I was in town for work and stayed here for a week. We liked it so much, we secured it for a other two weeks (the remainder of my tine working in the state). Its so quiet and comfortable out here. It truely is a home away from home. This home is perfect for families with toddlers as well!
