My mother and I arrived at our apartment after an 8 hour drive. We were tired and just wanted to relax the rest of the evening. Instead, we found our apartment unclean, wet laundry in the washer, half dry laundry in the dryer, unclean beds with hair in the sheets, towels were not laid out and the towels we found were full of strands of hair and were stained/unclean. The shower doors on two of the showers in the apartment could not be closed as they were broken off of the track, so we could not use them. After calling the property manager, we were informed that there was another unit available, but we were required to take pictures of the first apartment and email them the proof of our complaints. The second apartment we were able to stay in, however, there were several missing items that required my mother and I to make an unexpected trip to the local Walmart to buy paper towels, Kleenex, hand soap, cleaning wipes, and trash bags. We also purchased our own towels as the towels in the apartment we stayed at were the same as the first apartment, stained, not clean, and full of hair. Having seen the state of the first apartment also made us question how clean the second apartment really was and that made us feel very grossed out. Check-out instructions indicated that the dishes were to be placed in the dishwasher and a cycle started, however, no dishwasher detergent was provided in the apartment, so we hand washed all of the dishes instead. Our stay was stressful, unpleasant, and was more expensive due to the unexpected items we had to purchase to stay there. I relayed all of this to the property management company upon our checking out and there was no discussion of a refund or partial refund, only a 'sorry for the inconvenience'. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying at a property managed by this company.
