“The staff was incredibly friendly. The location was for convenient to downtown restaurants, and close to a hiking trail. I wish I had done more research on the particular room we stayed in. I thought we were staying in the main house, which I liked the aesthetic of more. The Rocklynn is basic in comparison. But that's my own fault for not doin the research. ”

“We had a very enjoyable time. The hosts were excellent and responded to our requests quickly in text. We kicked off a fire in the pit,quiet, and place was very clean. The reason for the 4 stars is it is definitely an older property (1950s) and the beds were super firm. We plan to go again but try the individual canins. we found the beds super firm. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Hills Cottage. Fabiola is the perfect host, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys hosting people. Super cozy and well appointed cottage, set in a beautiful landscape. It is the perfect place to stay if you have dogs, as it is fully fenced and perfect for them. We would definitely come back and stay here. Thank you again Fabiola for your hospitality and kind heart!”

“The bath towels were of high quality but not white. It is a pet peeve of mine that when I use a common use towel I want them to be white so that they can have the ever-living daylights bleached out of them between guests. I did love that little gas fireplace. The furniture could have been arranged slightly different with two comfy chairs and a coffee table looking out over the harbor instead of the dining table which got almost no use from us due to the amount of really great food in walking...

“The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!”

“Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. ”
