Great stay!
The house and detached guest house were very nice. There were a few places that were not super clean, but all in all, very good. The grill was not working and the propane tank was replaced the night we arrived. The grill needs replacing, but it did end up working ok. The location is close to town and we enjoyed walking around Patti’s and the shops. We had a wonderful time with three generations under one roof.

Wonderful location
Loved the house and the annex. My family of 14 (7 adults and 7 children) had a great time. Kids enjoyed the stay so much. House suited our needs and it was closed to everything we wanted to do. Hosts are fantastic.

Great space!
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the property. We found everything to be clean and organized and the check in and check out procedures were very easy. The location was great and really close to Pattis and LBL which we enjoyed. The couches were comfortable and the king beds were very soft and comfortable. The queen beds and twin beds weren’t as comfortable. The bunk bed mattresses were hard for the adults to sleep on and the plastic mattress protectors were noisy when anyone moved around. This would probably be fine for children but was harder for adult women to sleep on. I’m not sure this has to be a deterrent but if you have adults with back problems, they might prefer the couch or to bring an air mattress instead. There is plenty of space for air mattresses. We enjoyed the pool table and all the outdoor and indoor seating options. Overall we were very happy with our stay except a few of us didn’t get as restful of a nights sleep because of the bunk beds. If we could find a way for the twin bunk beds to be more accommodating for adults that would be even better for our size group.

Wonderful Family Time
We had a wonderful time at the Thompson's Lake House. The house is just as shown in the photos. We stayed there with our three children, their spouses and their 7 children. Each family enjoyed having their own space and bathroom. There are many great restaurants close and we were able to pick up food and eat at the house which was easier for the small children. You are close to the lake and not far from Benton. Jeremy and Megan were very responsive to communication. We had a small problem with the water (NOT the owners fault), but it was fixed in just a few hours while we took the children to nearby Mike Miller park to play. Our entire family said they would definitely like to come back to this house again.

Fun for all.
Property was very clean and well decorated . They had Everything and more than we needed . Very homey. I gave the ‘location’ 4 stars only because we have some walkers and hikers and there was not really a place to walk. But otherwise location was great - close to everything. Not a big problem as an easy drive to numerous trails and hiking sties. I would highly recommend this house . Plenty of games on site for all to enjoy.

Christmas vacation
First of all, it’s hard to find somewhere locally for 17 people to celebrate a few days together during Christmas vacation, so we were happy to give this property a try. Communication was FABULOUS! The owner/property manager was always so prompt in answering any questions I had before and during the stay. The property had adequate sleeping accommodations for all of us, but the house is kind of chopped up which made it difficult to watch kids etc. The staircase at the bottom to the basement has no railing and one child fell off it. Things are a little worn with some stains, but clean enough. The road to the house is uphill and the driveway is up hill. Since there had been snow and ice none of it had been plowed or shoveled which made it extremely difficult to access. We slid down the hill and driveway several times before successfully making it up the driveway.

Excellent property for large family gathering!
Our crew of extended family had plenty of space to relax, play games, and just be together in this beautifully decorated home. Beds are comfortable, towels and dishes are clean, house is overall cozy. We utilized the grill, the pool table, foosball table, and deck; everything was wonderful. Definitely recommend this property@

Lovely property, lovely host
Adorable, comfortable home done in modern farmhouse style. We had 6 adults and an almost 1-year-old. The neighborhood was quiet, and surrounded by woods so that it felt isolated. Although it was too hot to enjoy the fire pit, we loved having the deck with a grill and a covered patio area downstairs. House was somewhat childproofed, which was a bonus, as most places aren’t at all. Plenty of cookware and utensils, and host graciously supplied a few basic cooking ingredients, and laundry supplies. The mother-in-law cottage came in handy and would be ideal for a couple with 1-2 children (the stairs are definitely not baby safe!). All the shopping and restaurants in town were less than 5 minutes away by car, as was the marina, and Green Turtle Bay resort was also just a quick drive away (we recommend The Thirsty Turtle Tavern for a fun beach bar vibe.) All in all, great location + comfortable house = a memorable vacation!
