“The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck.”

“We checked in Friday afternoon went out Saturday morning got back Saturday night to find out there was no water the pump went in the well I called the owner Sunday morning and told him about it he apologized many times he also refunded half my money back within a few minutes the care taker had a couple of big jugs of water for me so I was able to stay until Monday morning it’s a nice place and if i had to rate the owner I would give him a 10 out of 10”

“We had a wonderful relaxing time. After spending four days exploring the area, it was a treat to jump into the whirlpool. One evening counting the stars, the next listening to the waves crash against the stones as the sun was setting. “Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving.”
