Hill House
We had a great stay at the Hill House in Grand Marais! We spent most of our time outdoors exploring, but the house fit our needs perfectly when we were done for the day. The deck with the lake view was great for coffee in the morning or relaxing at night. The yard was also very large, which was nice for playing bean bags or fetch with the dog.

Beautiful view and beautiful home.
We had an amazing time at the Hill House. The location is secluded and private. The house comes with all the amenities and felt like home. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

What a gem!
Great place for the price. Plenty of space, great property manager that checked on us shortly after we arrived and gave us some helpful local advice. Great view and a big outdoor space for our dogs to run around.

Beautiful View
Wonderful home and property with a gorgeous view of the Bay and Lake Superior. Well maintained, clean and well stocked. Nice open kitchen/livingroom. Loved the deck for morning coffe and evening rest. Very close to all amenities and attractions. Quiet neighborhood on a hill. We were a party of 4 friends and this home was just the right size. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home!

Great little rental! It was close enough to town to experience Grand Marais but also far enough away for peace and quiet. Property Manager was quick to reply when needed and super friendly. Newly decorated and well stocked kitchen.

Excellent Place. Very clean.
We loved the stay at the cabin. It was in a perfect location. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Property manager was there when we got there and was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful View
Very nice home, kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Which is great because the week we went, every single restaurant closed for that week. Wish this would have been communicated to us. Other than that it was a great get away and this property won't disappoint. They are installing a fire pit this spring, that will be a great addition.

Annual Snowmobile Trip
We booked a stay at the Hill House for our annual snowmobile trip in mid Feb. Unfortunately, due to the strange weather this winter, there was no snow to be found but we didn't believe it so we had to see for ourselves. Instead we did some hiking at the local Bond Falls, we drove to other nearby sights to see. We also walked from the Hill House into town a couple times for dinner. Lake Superior Brewing Co. has great food and atmosphere. We stopped at Grand Marais Tavern and had a cocktail. And had a delicious breakfast with a view at The Breakwall Lodge. Superior Shores Market or Bayshore Market have everything you'd need! Plus, the picture perfect shoreline, visible from most of town will make you fall in love with this little dot on the map! We'll be back for sure!

Grand Marais getaway
Cute dog friendy cabin with great view of Lake Superior. Easy walking distance to downtown area. The UP 200 was scheduled to end in Grand Marais but was canceled due to lack if snow this year. They still had activities planned downtown which were fun to check out.

Private and comfortable home
Dan was a super awesome and accommodating host. I’ve stayed in 2 of his homes and he was great to deal with both times. This one is fully renovated and private with a great view. I’ll be back again.
