No internet, no instructions to lock the coded door, no instructions to operate the gas fireplace, no booties as stated at front door, BBQ was filthy, rear slider leaks at top when it rains. Yes it’s a cabin and for the most part it was good. Don’t advertise was is not available.

Really nice, well stocked, has everything needed, but needs some maintenance.
Ceiling showed wet spotting after rain. If not repaired, going to be a big expense to repair. Unable to attach photos to this message, sent photos to email solicitation. Windows looking out breakfast nook had the filthiest widows I have ever encountered. Tim

Our Second Trip to the Star Cabin
My wife and I visited the Star Cabin nearly 6 years ago and fell in love with the view and this cozy cabin. The view from the front porch is amazing. We did not see any wildlife during this stay (Late July) but when we stayed in Late September there was a herd of elk walking in front of the cabin to get their morning drink from the lake. Please note: the wifi and cell service are not ideal, but if you’re looking for a more rustic getaway this place is perfect.

Comfortable but listing not accurate
Property was fairly clean. A few carpet stains, missing a shade on one of the patio doors, kitchen fridge very small and not well stocked with utensils. Not a lot of towels either. Location was not exactly how it was explained. We could walk to the Marina but had to cross a major highway and walk 500’ or so along the highway should to get there. No public access fishing in walking distance. Yard was not maintained and campfire area very overgrown. Still a good view of the mountains though and close to town. It was fine for a 2 night stay but likely would pick somewhere else next time.

The great grand lake
Beds were fine, kitchen amenities were fine. Sad thing is we wanted to use the fire pit. Had to completely clean the area out of grass and weeds that were severely overgrown. And the Wifi..... It was almost non existent. And was needed to make plans as our service was poor. Kinda expensive when you don't have those things that Coloradans and ones from outta state should expect when staying in Colorado.

Great place to stay!
The cabin was nice and clean and comfy. Thought it was within walking distance to lake but wasn't as close as it appeared on the VRBO photos. Still, did not disappoint. We loved staying here.

Perfect setting for a cabin stay
This place is one of the beautiful stays I have even been to. Very close to Rocky national park and beautiful little town grand lakes. The owner is always available through phone and very welcoming. The place has view of lakes and is very very peaceful

Weekend friends trip
We always go to grand lake every year! It’s a super cute town! The cabin was nice, we couldn’t get the ac on though, but we didn’t need it, the fire pit area was a tad overgrown so we couldn’t use it and there was a busted bench by the front door.. overall we weren’t there much so it wasn't terrible. Was a great place with nice views. Just could use some cleaning up and maintenance! Overall recommend though.

Nice cabin, a bit noisy in Summer.
Nice cabin, needs a few updates and maintenance though. Broken blinds upstairs in one window won’t close, and some burned out lights in the kitchen, weeds growing up at base of stairs and parking area. Drain upstairs in bathroom backs up. In summer with no AC opening windows is a must which requires listening to the noisy major road nearby.

What a great cabin! We loved staying here and wished we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect with great views of the mountains and it was super quiet, but close enough to Grand Lake and RMNP that it didn't take long to get where we wanted to go. The cabin itself was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Has potential
Cute cabin with potential. Biggest issues were cleanliness and maintenance issues with the cabin. When we checked in there was one used/dirty wash cloth in the upstairs shower (from previous people) and only one clean wash cloth for five of us to share. Shower upstairs with loose fixtures. Downstairs bathroom is not a shower but only a bathtub in need of repairs. Plumbing gurgling while we were there. Upstairs toilet ran continuously. Door handle was not on back door since it was broken and unable to use door. Notified the contact of all the issues. We checked out a day early for our two night stay. Requested a refund since we didn’t want to stay at a place with many unresolved issues. Was told they would credit the cleaning fee but no word on getting a refund on the night we didn’t stay there as nobody has returned my email. Proceed with caution until they can make some repairs and ensure it’s clean and they have towels and working door handles!

The property was amazing lots of moose around witch my kids loved the house was very clean there were a couple of loose doorknobs but other then that it was everything i hoped for and more there is a-lot to do in the surrounding towns we really hope to go back next year.

Very nice, clean cabin
We stayed in the star cabin at it was beautiful. Be warned, there's a spiral staircase.... Not great for someone with huge get casting a baby down, but no fault at all to the cabin! Everything we needed was there and more. Not as close to the lake as I thought, but if there's no infant involved, it's a nice walk. Do not eat at the Roadhouse while visiting. Overpriced food and horrible service. That aside, this was an amazing stay

Very clean. Great for kids 6 to 10.
This property was very clean. The house is very well-maintained. The loft area is great for children from 6 to 10 but I would be nervous if they were smaller and any larger and they won’t fit. The check in instructions were a little deceptive as there is no laundry. The fire pit needs a lot of work.

Cozy cabin
Cabin was beautiful, cozy, very clean & comfortable. Couldn’t get WiFi to work, we didn’t call anyone figured it might be good to have quiet time! Would definitely recommend this cabin to friends & stay again
