Our two week stay was perfect in every way. Chez Cay, which features separate sleeping quarters from the living/dining area, is well-situated both for privacy and seclusion but also an easy trip (by car) to nearby Governor’s Harbor. We are 2 writers who seek quiet getaways with occasional diversions; this property was ideal. It’s unusually well-equipped (we were thankful for the kitchen supplied with good knives, a French press coffeepot, and some cookware not coated with Teflon!) comfortable, and in a stunningly beautiful location. We appreciated the roomy outdoor shower, spacious dock area for relaxing, swimming and sunset watching; and the peacefulness and safe feeling of the whole property and community. Arthur's taxi met us at the airport, and we then rented a car from Edgar who gave us great tips, including about driving "next to the bush," on the left. Erika welcomed us warmly, had added beautiful touches to the house, and eased the transition on departure. From our first contact with Wayne, the owner, he was prompt and full of useful information. He is helpful and attentive in every way. We especially loved buying fish and lobsters and conch from the fishermen at the dock, fresh produce from Island Farm, walking at Leon Levy Reserve, and a fun night out at Rainbow Inn – half an hour drive, but worth it for pizza night and live music. Can’t wait to go back!
