Would recommend bringing water shoes or flip flops because the floor around the pool gets quite cold. We plan on making this an annual trip (celebrating my mom's & brother's birthdays), and looking to book with some friends and their kids in the future as well. ”

“The place was even better than expected! We had a group of over 40 family members of all ages and fit comfortably. In the diner area we had more than enough space to ring in the new year and spend quality time together. The rooms were clean and the themes were very cool. The game room was a huge hit with kids and adults alike! Pete was the best host! He was very accommodating and willing to assist with any odds and ends. We will certainly be returning to Medley Manor! ”

“Lovely setting overlooking the Illinois river. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and seating for our family reunion. The fireplaces indoors and outside were great. We loved the piano, which was in tune, for our sing alongs. And the large deck outside was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and bird watching on the river. The water supply is from a well so bring bottled water for drinking and coffee making if you don‘t like the heavy iron taste of well water. Make sure to catch sunset over the river.”

“We are 4 teachers who stayed here while attending a conference in Peoria. The house was lovely - we each had our own bedroom and a very nice kitchen and family room to share. It was literally an easy 15 minute drive to the civic center downtown. The price made it cost effective-we saved money compared to each having a hotel room for 3 nights. Definitely hoping to be back next year!”
