“I enjoyed my stay at the Haymarket Inn as it was convenient to Bendigo centre city amenities (restaurants, bakeries) and venues for a writers' festival. The Haymarket Inn was very clean and comfortable with charming decor and good lighting options. The plumbing and bedding system is of a high standard. My only concern is for disability guests who may prefer a hotel with cladding or linoleum boundaries against the rooms' old-fashioned, sturdy internal brick walls which may be knockable. “Difficult to find when following maps, was sending us to a back entrance which had long gone. Front entrance had broken sign which was away being repaired. Once found it was a good stay.”

“Good location, close to main street. Amenities good, except for lack of a broom or similar to sweep floor, which got dirty due to wet conditions outside. Sleeping arrangements were 'cosy' for six adults, but beds were comfortable. Requests for assistance by Reception were met with courtesy and promptness - thank you. Check in and check out processes were easy and user friendly. We had a fun stay. Thanks.”

“The motel rooms on the ground floor were sufficiently shield by the hotel building so we heard no traffic noise. The beds were comfortuable and we slept well. It has a microwave, toaster and fridge with the makings for breakfast at hand. One minor downside is that there is no formal office. So. you need to call someone to check-in to your room. Similarly on checkout, you just leave the keys in your room and shut the door.”
