“The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

“We had a 3 night stay at Lake Escape. The property was ideal for our extended family with plenty of bedding options. We were disappointed with the BBQ and outdoor area. The BBQ was old, tired looking and not as clean as we would have liked so we chose not to use it, also the outdoor area was covered in cobwebs. Apart from this we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property”

“This really is a piece of paradise...The location is amazing and the view from the house instance relaxation...The house is old so manage your expectation but it is a fabulous house we loved it and the bird life is just lovely to watch... “This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. The staff were very helpful with extending our booking a further night when we had to change plans late at night. My conclusion is the staff...

“The house was very clean. We were a bit startled at having to bring sheets and towels, but we got enough warning to be prepared. The instructions came in a strange way that was hard to read but I managed to enlarge them enough to print them and if we squinted we could work out the words. The location was quiet, with good views. The beds were comfortable. We found the light over the table not good enough to play board games, but we were able to use one of the bedside lamps.”
