“We had such an awesome week! It was everything we hoped it would be! The cabin is a good 8-10 minute drive from the road (the first gate) to the 2nd gate so take that time into consideration when venturing out because GPS doesn't factor it in. Our kids had a ball catching (and releasing) trout, creek walking, and just being lazy in the cabin. We also saw a family of wild turkey on the drive down from the house. Highly recommend and hope to enjoy this cabin again some time.”

“You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. “I have zero complaints about our stay at Timber Ridge. The view really is “Million-dollar”! Only two real bedrooms but the double bed in the game room is comfortable. Deck is beautiful and the fire pit area is very nice. Well appointed kitchen and host was very helpful. Will return if I come back to the Boone area!”

“If you love peace and quiet, this cabin will be your happy spot. It's out of the way with its private slice of babbling creek, lush ferns, mosses, rocks, and birds. Very well appointed, clean as a whistle, and all wrapped in a wonderful porch. We ate lunch along the way at quaint 'Almost on the Lake' and did a simple pasta dinner and oatmeal breakfast for our one-day stay. If you have a novel or jigsaw puzzle you want to finish, there couldn't be a better spot. I can see bringing my grands back...

“My huaband enjoyed every minute of hiking with our Labrador. The cabin was cozy and the views were fantastic. We will be back! There were a lot of ticks on the trails (nothing to do with the property), so anyone bringing a dog, make sure they are protected with something. The deck that goes around the cabin is amazing! You can be out even if its raining. The host answered all of our questions within minutes! Highly recommend!”

“This cabin is charming with an amazing view. The kitchen is fully stacked with utensils. Bathrooms and bedrooms have everything you need. Also, they do not show a ton of pictures of the loft, but it was an amazing play room for our kids. Games, mini cars, air hockey, bean bag chair. The only issue that I had was the road to get up here. It is NO JOKE! Make sure you have someone who is comfortable with this to drive them and possibly 4 wheel drive.”

“Cute cozy cabin with everything you need. Make sure you have everything food wise when you arrive, closest store is 40 minutes away. Many spots to swim and fish down the road to walk or couple minutes drive. Me and my kids enjoyed it, nobody wanted to leave. You can tube up and down the creek. Cough some trout and grilled it, was the best. If you plan any trips to Grandfather mountain or zip lining, make it a day trip. I did my gps in before I left the house, so directions worked the whole way...
